비가시적 데이터 코드를 활용한 사진의 정보확인 방법

국문 초록

본 연구는 비가시 영역 중 화학작용이 강한 자외선 잉크와 정보량이 높은 데이터 코드를 활용하여 사진 또는 이미지에 출력하고 데이터 코드 인식 결과에 따라 해당 이미지의 정보를 제공하는 기능을 제안하였다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구에서 제안한 비가시적 데이터 코드 시스템은 촬영자 또는 제작자의 저작권 및 메타데이터 정보를 2차원 바코드로 생성 후 자외선 잉크를 사용하여 해당 이미지에 출력한다. 이는 사람의 눈에 보이지 않는 파장 영역인 자외선으로 비가시적 데이터 코드를 생성할 수 있음을 의미한다. 이러한 방법은 개인정보 사용 시 외부에 유출되는 것을 차단할 수 있고 기존 검은색의 바코드가 이미지 자체를 가리거나, 선명도를 저하하는 것을 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 이미지를 검증하기 위하여 해당 이미지에서 비가시적인 데이터 코드를 인식하고 이를 디코딩(decoding)하여 해당 정보를 확인하여, 해당 이미지의 적합성 검증 및 위변조 여부 등을 판단할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study proposes a function of utilizing ultraviolet inks with strong chemical action and data codes with a large amount of information among invisible areas to output to photographs or images and that provides the image information according to the data code recognition results. To this end, the invisible data code system suggested in this study generates copyright and metadata information of a photographer or producer as a two-dimensional barcode and outputs thereof to the image utilizing ultraviolet ink. This means that invisible data codes can be created with ultraviolet rays, which are wavelength areas invisible to human eyes. Such a method can prevent external leakage of personal information when using personal information. Also, the method prevents traditional black barcodes from obscuring the image itself or deteriorating its sharpness. In addition, the suitability of the image, as well as any forgery or falsification of the image, can be determined by recognizing the invisible data code of the image and confirming the information based on decoding thereof for image verification.
