국문 초록

DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis, 자료포락분석)는 생산함수에 대한 가정 없이 다양한 조직의 효율성을 분석할 수 있는 비모수적 분석기법이다. DEA가 가진 장점으로 인해 지난 40년 동안 효율성 분석 기법으로 꾸준히 활용되고 있으며, 다양한 DEA 분석 소프트웨어가 개발되어 이용되고 있다. 무료 DEA 소프트웨어의 경우 분석모형이 부족하고 R 패키지의 경우 프로그램밍 기법을 학습해야 하는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 다양한 DEA 분석모형과 효율성 및 생산성 변화 추이분석을 지원하면서 별도의 설치와 환경설정이 필요 없는 웹기반 효율성 분석시스템을 연구자들에게 제공하면 많은 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 다수 개의 투입 요소를 이용하여 다수 개의 산출물을 생산하는 조직의 효율성 분석을 지원할 수 있는 웹기반 효율성 분석시스템인 WebDEA를 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 WebDEA 시스템의 주요 특징과 기능을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 효율성 점수에 있어서 유일한 순위를 제공할 수 있는 Super Efficiency 모형, Cross Efficiency 모형, Bootstrap DEA 모형을 지원하고, 음수 값을 가지는 데이터의 효율성 분석을 위해 SORM(Semi-Oriented Radial Measure) 모형을 지원한다. 둘째, 시간의 변화에 따른 효율성과 생산성 분석 기능을 제공하고 변화추세를 파악하기 위해서 DEA Window 분석과 Malmquist 생산성분석 기능을 제공한다. 셋째, 데이터 입력과 분석결과 관리 편의를 위해 엑셀 인터페이스 기능을 제공하고 분석결과에 대해서 line, bar, scatter, radar chart 기능과 그래프 저장 기능을 제공한다. 넷째, 사용자 인터페이스와 사용자 경험 향상을 위해 도움말 기능과 반응형 메시지 처리기능을 제공한다. 마지막으로 웹기반 애플리케이션을 제공함으로써 별도의 설치나 환경설정 없이 시스템 이용이 가능하다. DEA 분야에 관심이 있는 연구자들이 본 연구를 통해 개발된 WebDEA를 활용하여 효율성 및 생산성 분석 관련 연구가 활성화되고 양질의 연구성과가 창출되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is a non-parametric analysis method that can analyze the efficiency of various organizations without assumptions about the production function. Due to the advantages of DEA, it has been continuously used as an efficiency analysis technique for the past 40 years, and various DEA analysis software has been developed and used. In the case of free DEA software, the analysis model is insufficient, and in the case of the R package, there are disadvantages of learning programming techniques. Therefore, it would be very helpful to provide researchers with a web-based efficiency analysis system that does not require separate installation and configuration while supporting various DEA analysis models and analysis of changes in efficiency and productivity. In this work, we develop WebDEA, a web-based efficiency analysis system that can support the efficiency analysis of organizations that produce multiple outputs using multiple input elements. The main features and functions of the WebDEA system developed through this study are summarized as follows. First, it supports the Super Efficiency model, the Cross Efficiency model, and the Bootstrap DEA model that can provide a unique ranking in the efficiency score, and the SORM (Semi-Oriented Radial Measure) model for the efficiency analysis of data with negative values. Second, DEA Window analysis and Malmquist productivity analysis functions are provided to provide efficiency and productivity analysis functions over time changes and to identify changes. Third, it provides an Excel interface function for data input and analysis result management convenience, and provides line, bar, scatter, radar chart functions and graph storage functions for analysis results. Fourth, it provides a help function and a responsive message processing function to improve the user interface and user experience. Finally, by providing web-based applications, the system can be used without installation or configuration. It is hoped that researchers interested in the field of DEA will use WebDEA developed through this study to facilitate research related to efficiency and productivity analysis and create high-quality research results.
