국문 초록

2010년의 시점에서 본 동북아 지역정치는 냉전과 탈냉전이 공존하고 국제와 탈국제, 국가중심세계와 다중심세계가 혼재되어 있다. 이 글은 ‘동북아 2010’의 전개 양상, 그 입구와 출구를 ‘지역질서의 복합화’라는 관점에서 접근한다. 동북아 지역구조, 역내 행위자들의 상호작용, 동북아 시간축 등을 재현함으로써 지역질서의 변환을 살핀다. 지역구조에서는 비공식 지역화인 신지역주의, 초지역적 연계와 지역협력구상, 참입시스템과 미국의 입지를 검토한다. 행위자들의 상호작용의 측면에서는 역내 상호의존의 심화와 중·일 관계, 다중심세계의 역동성 그리고 영토국가의 변환을 고찰한다. 시간축의 측면에서는 복합질서와 관련된 장기지속의 패턴, 중심-주변/해양-대륙의 새로운 동학을 관찰한다. 이러한 동북아시공간의 복합적 변환을 감안할 때, 지역성의 행방에 관한 접근은 복합적이어야 함을 이 글은 강조한다.

영문 초록

The regional politics in Northeast Asia in 2010 displays a coexistence of cold war and post-cold war, international and post-international, and state-centric world and multi-centric world. This article approaches the development of Northeast Asia 2010, with its origin and exit, in terms of complexation of regional order, and represents regional structure, interplay of regional actors, and time-base to show the transformation of regional order. As for regional structure, new regionalism as an informal regionalization, trans-regional linkage and regional cooperation schemes, and intrusive system and presence of the United States are researched. Interplay of regional actors is reviewed through deepened regional interdependence and sino-japanese relations, on the one hand, and dynamics of multi-centric world and transformation of territorial state, on the other. The observation of time-base reveals a pattern of long duration about the fluctuation between state-centric world and multi-centric world as well as the cyclic dynamics of core-periphery/continental-oceanic. These kinds of complexity in regional transformation require a complex approach in tracing the evolution of Northeast Asian regionness.
