국문 초록

본고에서는 중부지역의 원삼국~백제 한성기의 취락유적을 경기서부지역, 경기동부지역, 경기남부지역으로 나누어 토기 양상을 살펴보고, 그에 따라 지역권을 구분하면서 지역문화의 성격을 간단히 언급해보았다. 서울·경기지역은 3세기대 토기 양상에 따라 분묘, 주거 등을 포함시켜 경기동부지역권, 경기서부지역권, 경기남부지역권으로 나눌 수 있다. 경기동부지역권은 토기뿐 아니라 주거, 분묘 등에서 영서지역을 포함하는 중도문화(또는 중도유형)의 범주에 속한다. 경기서부지역권은 토기문화로 보아 인천, 김포 지역이 중심이고, 시흥, 안산, 파주 지역까지 포함되지만 토기, 주거, 분묘 등에서 파주지역은 점이 지대적인 성격을 갖는다. 경기남부지역권은 토기, 주거, 분묘 등으로 보아 평택, 오산 지역이 중심이며, 화성이나 수원 지역은 서부나 동부(북부) 지역과의 점이지대이고, 용인 동부지역도 분묘로 본다면 경기동부지역권과의 중간지대이다. 원삼국시대부터 백제 한성기초까지 각 지역문화권은 공존하면서 인접 지역은 문화 요소가 서로 섞이는 점이지대나 중간지대도 나타난다. 각 지역권 내에서의 문화 공유 정도로 보아 확산은 상당히 빠르게 일어났지만, 지역권간 확산은 그다지 나타나지 않아 분포권이 뚜렷한 편이다. 이는 각 지역문화권의 계통 차이가 컸기 때문이 아닌가 판단되어 그 연원을 파악해보면, 경기남부지역권은 호서북부지역과 함께 청동기시대 송국리문화권에서의 연원에 따라 전통성이 강하다. 이에 비해 경기 북부 또는 동부지역권은 비송국리문화권이며, 사람의 이동을 포함한 예계 문화의 유입으로 다른 계통이 뚜렷해졌을 것이고, 경기서부지역권은 호서나 호남 서해안 지역 등 해안을 따라 남쪽의 한계 문화가 유입되면서 그 계통이 달라진 것으로 추정된다. 즉, 경기지역에 나타나는 세 지역문화권은 낙랑과의 인접성 등에 따라 공통되는 양상도 보이지만, 문화적 연원, 외래 문물의 유입 양상 등에 따라 지역권간의 차이가 나타난 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study set out to divide the settlement sites of Proto-Three Kingdoms~Hanseong Period of Baekje in the central part of the Korean Peninsula by the region according to pottery patterns and investigate the nature of local culture. The Seoul and Gyeonggi region can be divided into eastern Gyeonggi, western Gyeonggi, and southern Gyeonggi regions by including tombs and dwellings according to the patterns of pottery in the third century. The eastern Gyeonggi region belongs to the Jungdo(中島) culture including the Yeongseo region in terms of dwellings and tombs as well as pottery. The western Gyeonggi region was centered around Incheon and Gimpo based on the pottery culture and encompassed even Siheung, Ansan, and Paju, which had the nature of a transition belt. The southern Gyeonggi region was centered around Pyeongtaek and Osan based on pottery, dwellings, and tombs. Hwaseong and Suwon were transition belts with the western and eastern(northern) regions. Eastern Yongin was a twilight zone with the southern Gyeonggi region based on tombs. Each region witnessed rapid internal spread according to the degree of cultural sharing, but spread was not prevalent among the regions, which thus had distinct areas of distribution. The southern Gyeonggi region exhibited the strong traditionality of Songgukri cultural area from the Bronze Age according to its origin along with the northern Hoseo region. Unlike it, the eastern(northern) Gyeonggi region belonged to non-Songgukri cultural areas and developed a distinct different system with the influx of Ye(濊)-style culture including the migration of people. The western Gyeonggi region is estimated to have changed in the system with the influx of Han(韓)-style culture from the southern part along the coast including west coastal areas of Hoseo and Honam. In other words, the three local cultural areas of Gyeonggi had differences from one another according to the cultural origins and influx patterns of foreign civilization while exhibiting common patterns according to their proximity to Nangnang(樂浪).
