영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyse effect of hosting Taekwondo tournament. as a sports tourism on regional economy. Sample of 120 completed questionnaire using a convenient self administration method was used and collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN ver 18.0 and EXCEL 2007. Results showed that direct effect of total spend of 1800 visitors on Yongwol provincial economy was ￦348, 638, 568. As for the indirect effect by interindustry analyse, production inducement effect was estimated at ￦589,000,000, income induction effect was ￦117,000,000, employment-induced effect was 10 people, value added induction effect was ￦303,000,000, import induction effect was ￦45,000,000, and tax induction effect was ￦45,000,000. Total economic effect was up to 1,100,000,000 nation wide. To maximize economic effect of hosting sports event, strategic link to local tourism is required to invite more visitors and revisit.
