국문 초록

본 교과목은 수학, 통계학 등 수리과학을 전공하는 학부학생들을 대상으로 개발한 연계 응용교과과정이다. 따라서, 학생들이 정보보호의 기본적인 개념, 원리, 법칙을 탐구함으로써 실생활의 여러 가지 정보보호에 대한 문제를 합리적이고 창의적으로 해결하는 능력을 배양하는데 교과목 개발의 목표를 두었다. 확률·통계적 암호이론과 암호 시스템의 안전성 검증 이론의 비중을 확대함으로써 기존의 암호학과 차별화 하였으며, 수학과 통계학 교수들의 팀 강의가 가능하도록 편성하였다. 또한, 암호시스템의 안전성에 대한 수학적 증명이 가능한 확률암호시스템의 탐구를 통해 암호시스템의 안전성 검증이론에 대한 새로운 개념의 정립이 가능하도록 하였다.

영문 초록

This paper develops a course named 「Probabilistic Cryptosystems and Application」 that is designed to be offered jointly by the Statistics department and the Mathematics department. Our aim of developing the course is to provide students with the supporting knowledge necessary for growing ability to bring a practical problem of protecting information to a logical and creative settlement. By emphasizing the theory of probabilistic and statistical cryptography, it differentiates from the current cryptographic theory. As a result, it makes possible to open a interdisciplinary team-teaching lecture between Mathematics and Statistics. In addition, we develop a new concept about the safety checking theory in cryptographic system, which is based on the numerous mathematical theory.
