고전희곡(古典戲曲)을 활용한 인문교양 수업의 실제

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 인문교양 수업에서 고전희곡읽기 수업의 학습효과를 높이기 위한 블랜디드 러닝수업사례에 대한 연구이다. 블랜디드 러닝이 고전읽기수업에 효과적으로 활용되기 위한 온라인 사전학습자료 제작방법과 강의식 수업의 사전학습 제시 문제 그리고 교실내의 교수학습 전략을 구체적으로 제시하여, 고전문학읽기의 교수학습 수업설계시에 필요한 실질적 지침을 제공하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구의 대상은 국내의 C대학교의 고전희곡읽기 인문수업을 수강한 2개 분반의 82명의 학생들이다. 전체 수업 15주에서 7주간은 플립러닝으로 운영하였고, 5주간은 강의식 수업으로 운영하였다. 플립러닝을 위한 동영상 콘텐츠는 작동이 용이하며 시간에 제약을 받지 않는 툴을 사용하였고, 교수자가 직접 제작하였다. 강의식 수업에서는 사전에 텍스트 읽기 부분을 사전학습으로 제시하였다. 연구의결과 블랜디드 러닝은 고전문학작품 읽기에 적절한 학습법임을 알 수 있었다. 학습자의 학습동기를 이끌고 학습목표 달성에 가장 최우선시 되어야 하는 점은 매우 면밀하고도 체계적인 교수학습 설계임을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This is a case study on blended learning in order to enhance the learning effect of classical drama reading in liberal arts classes in college. To effectively utilize blended learning when reading works of classical literature, it is first necessary to suggest to the students how to make online pre-learning materials, and then to provide them with questions for the lectures in advance. The purpose of this study was to provide practical guidelines for both teaching and learning strategies when it comes to reading works of classical literature. The subjects of this study were 82 students, enrolled in two separate classical drama reading classes at C University in Korea. For 7 out of the term’s 15 weeks, the classes were conducted by using flipped learning, whereas the 5 remaining classes were taught by means of traditional lectures. The video contents for the flipped learning classes were produced by the instructor using free and easy to use video software. As for the lecture class, the part involving the text was presented in advance as a pre-learning strategy. As a result of the study, we learned that blended learning is an appropriate learning method for reading works of classical literature. Also, we found that when it comes to instilling and maintaining in the learners a healthy level of motivation and thus helping them to better achieve their learning goals, one of the most important things involved is the design of a very close and very systematic teaching and learning strategy.
