한⋅중⋅일 산업간 가치사슬 네트워크 및 동북아지역차원의 산업클러스터 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 한⋅중⋅일 각국간 및 산업간 가치사슬 네트워크를 분석하면서 각국의 산업 활동 과정에서 나타나는 산업클러스터를 명시적으로 다루었다. 이를 위하여 국제연결 산업연관표를 활용하여 국제연결 단위구조를 도출하였으며, 사회연결망 분석이론을 원용하여 가치사슬네트워크 및 산업클러스터 분석을 행하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는, 전후방 산업연관관계가 강하며 동북아 지역내 각국간 경쟁적이며 발전단계가 상이한 특성을 나타내 보이는 자동차산업에 초점을 맞추어 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 산업의 가치사슬 네트워크분석을 통하여 (1)동북아 3개국 모두에서 자국의 서비스산업으로부터의 외향연결정도 값이 모두 크게 나타나고 있는 바, 자동차산업의 생산활동 연계 고리 가운데 서비스 산업이 네트워크의 가장 중요한 핵이 되고 있음이 확인되고 있다. (2)동북아 3개국 자동차산업 모두에서 두 번째로 외향연결정도 값이 큰 부문은 철강산업으로 나타났다. 그러나 각종 중간재, 부품 등의 소재가 철강으로부터 점차 다른 대체적인 소재들로 바뀌고 있음을 시사해 주는 분석결과가 나타났으며 특히 일본의 경우가 가장 강하게 나타나고 있다. (3)한국과 중국의 자동차산업에서는 이른바 기계류 등 메카닉 관련 부문의 외향연결정도 값이 전기전자 등의 그것보다 더 크게 나타나고 있으며 일본은 그 반대인 것으로 나타났다. 특히 가치사슬 네트워크 분석결과는 밀도분석이나 네트워크맵 등을 통하여 시각적으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the international value chain network in Northeast Asia. For this, using the international input-output table, we draw an international unit structure. And application of the social network theory can make an analysis on the value chain network and industrial cluster in the region possible. From the analysis on the value chain network in the Northeast Asia, we can derive some characteristics; (1) Having not only the largest value of outdegree but also indegree, service industry is the very key sector in the production linkage chain of the vehicle industry in the region, (2) The second largest value of outdegree and indegree is shown in the steel industry. However, some results show that steel for the parts and intermediates tends to be replaced by substitute material, (3) In the vehicle industry of Korea and China, the outdegree and indegree value of mechanics as like machinery is larger than that of the electronics. However, it is quite contrary in Japan. We can confirm these characteristics in the network map. The results may be very suggestive in bringing up a new frame of the FTA discussion in the regional level (between Korea and China, Korea and Japan, Korea-China and Japan).
