국문 초록

본 연구는 1980~1990년대 『대천일기』를 사례로 공간 변화와 그 과정에 나타나는 역사, 문화 등이 개인 일상에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 ‘공간’과 ‘개인 일상’간의 관계를 조망하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 도시화에 따른 마을공간의 변화를 파악하고 경제적 활동과 비경제적 활동으로 나누어 개인 일상을 살펴보았다. 이 시기 대천마을은 농촌에서 도시로 전환되는 과도기에 있었다. 경제적 활동에서 농업의 경우, 농지 감소로 인하여 농업 형태와 농지 운영방식에서 변화가 초래되었고 상업의 경우, 자녀의 상점 운영에 부모는 간접 참여로 나타났다. 비경제적 활동에서는 근대 문화와 마을 활동을 통해 개인 일상이 재구성되었다. 한편 마을노인회, 향토문화보존회를 중심으로 마을전통을 이어가는 일상도 지속되고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between ‘space’ and ‘individual everyday life’ by investigating the effects of spatial change and its history and culture on individual everyday life using the case of Daecheon Diary in the 1980s and 1990s. This study checks up the change of village space due to urbanization and examines reconstruction of individual everyday life into economic and non-economic activities. In the 1980s and 1990s, Daecheon village was in transition from rural to urban area. In the case of agriculture in economic activity, a decrease in farmland brought about changes in farming patterns and farming practices. In the case of commerce, parents appeared to be indirectly involved in their children s store operations. In noneconomic activities, personal daily life was reconstructed through new modern culture and village activities. On the other hand, everyday lives continued by maintaining village traditions centering on senior citizens association and local culture preservation society.
