국문 초록

2008년 금융위기 이후 신자유주의와 금융자본주의에 대한 근본적 의문이 제기되고 있다. ‘힐링’이나 ‘인문학’의 이름으로 대처하기엔 부족하다. 80년대 불었던 사회과학 열풍은 1차적으로는 90년대 사회주의권의 몰락과 마르크시즘의 퇴조로, 2차적으로는 97년 외환위기 극복과정에서 생긴 ‘생존주의’와 ‘소비주의’에 밀려 사그라들었다. 현재 경영학 중심의 사회과학은 사회공학으로서의 성격만 남고 ‘의미의 생산자’로서의 역할을 제대로 하지 못하고 있다. 이 논문은 사회과학과 인문학을 결합한, ‘인문경제학’이란 이름의 교양수업모델에 관한 것이다. 기존의 사회과학에서 인간의 본성은 이기적 인간, 즉 호모 이코노미쿠스이다. 이런 인간관은 경쟁, 효율, 이기주의, 자기중심적 태도를 특징으로 하는 데 이에 인식론적으로 전환하여 협동, 공존과 이타주의의 경제학으로 나아갈 필요가 있다. 이런 경제학에서는 신자유주의와 금융자본주의가 비판의 중심이 된다. ‘돈이 돈을 버는 사회’의 결과라 할 수 있는 주주자본주의, 비정규직, 복지의 축소, 가계부채, 부동산투기, 급속한 생태계의 파괴 들을 평범한 개인의 의식주 생활에 비추어 검토하고 ‘함께 하는 삶, 나누는 삶’의 대안적 경제를 모색한다. 어려운 경제적 개념과 세계화 시대의 경제체제를 이론적으로뿐만 아니라 감성적으로도 이해할 수 있도록 음악과 영화 들의 매체와 함께 사회과학 및 인문학의 융복합을 시도한다.

영문 초록

The motto money or avarice is the best has been doubted and challenged since the global financial crisis in 2008. Even the capitalism itself has been questioned. However, economy and social science don t play a big role in solving these social situations. It is because the social engineering, that is, a series of experiments and observations, and the data collection methods, has taken its centre in social sciences’ methodology. I think that social science should suggest meaning and direction toward a desirable and sustainable society. The purpose of this article is to try and suggest an approach toward economy and social science from the root level, which can be called “Human Economics . In fact, human economics is not yet a settled concept. Therefore, an epistemological turn is necessary to establish Human Economics , in which will be above the mix and match of social science and humanities. It needs the epistemological turn of values such as competition, efficiency, especially self-centered attitude and egoism which is the nature of homo-economicus into cooperation, co-existence, and altruism, which are the values of humanities. Therefore, it will be thought that economy instruction as general education, not a major study, should orient to Human Economics for students to have moral and ethical values in their social economic behaviors. It should be taught that companies also should compete to create the greatest benefit to the whole of society, rather than trying to gain profit at the expense of others. Futhermore, it will be better to teach Human Economics in interdisciplinary way with multimedia.
