국문 초록

이 논문에서는 하종오의 시를 중심으로 문학 작품 속에 형상화된 다문화 사회의 실상과 그 이면을 비판적으로 파악한 뒤 여기에서 발견된 현대 한국 사회의 문제점을 극복하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 세계시민정신에 부합하는 인식 태도를 모색해 보고자 한다. 세계시민으로서 올바른 정신과 자세를 지니기 위해서는 문화나 이념을 달리하는 모든 민족이나 국가 사이의 화해와 협력을 지향하는 태도가 필요하다. 이러한 문제의식 아래 한국현대시에 표상된 다문화 현상을 반성적으로 고찰하고 세계화 시대의 바람직한 시민정신이란 무엇인지 비판적으로 성찰하는 것이 이 논문의 최종 목적인 것이다. 외국에서 이주해 온 노동 이민자나 결혼 이민자에게 한국적 특성을 주입해서 완벽한 한국인으로 변신하기를 바라는 ‘동화의 방식’은 오히려 역효과를 초래할 수 있다. 오히려 그들의 문화를 먼저 우리가 수용하고 이해한 뒤 그들의 문화와 정서를 공감하는 역지사지의 과정이 필요하다. 이러한 노력을 문학 텍스트를 통해 꾸준히 펼쳐온 시인이 바로 하종오이다. 그는 10년이 넘게 외국 이주민에 대한 우리 사회의 배타성을 비판하는 시편들을 꾸준히 발표하였다. 하종오의 시를 중심으로 한국의 현대시에 나타난 다원화 사회의 다양한 양상을 살펴보는 일은 세계시민정신이 과연 무엇인지 우리에게 진지한 질문을 던지기 때문에 큰 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we citizens of the world to equip the spirit in the work at shaping the reality of a multicultural society and that is critically identify and recognize the world to meet citizenship sought see attitude. Korea through the modern city that is represented in the multicultural phenomenon, and the study of reflective citizenship in the era of globalization What is a preferred clock to reflect critically. The main purpose of this paper appeared in Korea s modern cultural phenomenon at the world through a systematic understanding of the qualities of being a citizen is to be expected. Global citizens the right spirit and attitude, unlike the culture and philosophy of any nation or national reconciliation and cooperation between the oriented attitude is required. Korean immigrant in a foreign country to those characteristics by injecting wish to transform into perfect Koreans way of assimilation can lead to the opposite effect. Rather, their culture first, then we accept and understand their culture and the process of sympathetic emotion is needed. Among these poets Ha Jong-Oh foreign immigrants for over 10 years exclusivity of our society continue to criticize the specimens were released. In short, the table looking at the various aspects of pluralistic society, citizens of the world do to us what a bond really cast a serious question because it has a great meaning.
