국문 초록

건축물의 화재안전 확보를 목적으로 도입된 성능위주설계는 시뮬레이션 등 공학적 해석을 요구한다. 하지만 국내에서는미국과 일본 등의 기준 및 자료에 의존하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 기초적 데이터 확보 및 공학적 설계를 위한 방안을확보하기 위해 업무시설의 가연물의 화재하중을 측정하였다. 동시에 대상 시설에서 공통적으로 조사된 주요가연물을 선정하여룸코너 시험기 후드를 이용해 실물실험을 실시하였다. 또한, 가연물의 성장단계별로 구분한 결과를 바탕으로 화재성장률을도출하여 국내 가연물의 연소특성을 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제안했다.

영문 초록

In this study, the dangers surrounding vehicular fires were identified by means of statistical analysis of the national fire information system. The analysis was conducted on the operation time of the sprinkler fire extinguisher, which plays the most essential role during the initial fire extinguishing attempt, in case of a fire outbreak. A simulation was created using the application guidelines pertaining to a sprinkler head located close to a beam as provided in NFSC 103. The operation time of the sprinkler head was analyzed for the case of a parking lot fire where a fan was operated. Fire Dynamics Simulator was used as the simulation program. Performance-based design (PBD) that is introduced to secure the fire safety of buildings requires engineering analysis such as simulation.
