국문 초록

1960年､深沢七郎は『中央公論』12月号に「風流夢譚」を発表した｡庶民である「私」の夢の中､天皇一家が実名で登場し斬殺された皇居広場でのカーニバルを描いた小説で「菊のタブー」にふれてしまい､「風流夢譚」事件の端を発した｡本稿では「風流夢譚」事件をめぐって戦後天皇制のあり方及び日本人の天皇制認識を考察し､テクストに即して深沢七郎の天皇制批判を分析した｡ 小説掲載後､言論界で起こった「風流夢譚」論争には日本の知識人がもっている天皇制への感情·認識の複雑性と衝突が見られる｡さらに右翼テロの嶋中事件があり､ジャーナリズムでも文壇でも自己規制を行なうようになった｡民衆に染みついている「天皇信仰」が右翼の存在を容認するムードとなっている｡敗戦から20世紀60年代前後まで､天皇が「神」から「人間」へと変わりつつ､1959年の結婚でその人間化を実現した｡しかしながら､支配の機構としての天皇制の本質も､日本人の天皇への幻想も根本的に変わっていない｡深沢七郎の小説は戦後天皇制の虚偽と欺瞞性を風刺しているのであるが､「風流夢譚」事件そのものも天皇制のもとの日本社会の真実を物語っていると言えるだろう｡

영문 초록

In 1960, Fukazawa Shichiro’s novel Furyū Mutan (“The Story of a Dream of Courtly Elegance”) was published in the magazine Chūōkōron. This satire violated the taboo on discussing or criticizing the Emperor through its carnivalesque depictions which used the imperial family’s real names, and thus provoked the “Furyū Mutan” incident. This paper analyzes the state of the imperial system in post-war Japan and Japanese sentiment regarding the “Furyū Mutan” incident, and then discusses the critique of the imperial system in Fukazawa Shichiro’ works. First, the novel became controversial in literary circles, and the tensions between intellectuals and the imperial system were exposed. Then, in 1961 the Shimanaka incident occurred, with the modern imperial system being the root cause. Between Japan’s defeat in WWII and the 1960s, the emperor completed the change from being seen as divine to being seen as human, but the emperor’s status in the hierarchy of power has not changed, and the Japanese are still sweetly disposed towards him. Fukazawa Shichiro’s text, implicitly and explicitly, harshly criticizes the deceptions of the imperial system, which also puts it in an ironic light in Japanese society.
