中国における日本私小説の翻訳と受容

국문 초록

大1920年代､「私小説」という文学用語が中国の日本留学生によって､中国に紹介されて以来､ずっと一つの文学用語として中国で使われ､中国文学にも定着し､影響を与えている｡本研究はまず百年間近くの中国における日本私小説と私小説評論の翻訳出版状況を調査し､一覧表に作った｡それから､この一覧表をデータベースとして､1920~新中国成立前(1949年)､新中国成立から改革開放まで(1949~1978年)の三十年間､改革開放の四十年間(1978~現在)など三つの時期に分けて､各時期における私小説の翻訳と受容の特徴､及び調査中に出てきたおもしろい話題､例えば､中国における志賀直哉の私小説に対する翻訳と受容､いま日本私小説として流行っている「人間失格」の翻訳と受容などについて分析を行った｡ほかに､中国における日本私小説に対する研究論文と著書の翻訳を分析した上で､中国における日本私小説研究も概観した｡これらの調査､分析に基づき､さらに中国読者の日本私小説に対する認識と受容を確かめた｡そして､私小説の代表作として､中国に流通している作品は日本で認識されている私小説作品との間に大きなズレが存在していることがわかった｡「私」という漢字に対する理解の違いによって､今中国作家の書いている「私小説」も日本の私小説の様式とかなり違っていることも判明した｡

영문 초록

The “I-novel” literary genre was introduced to the Chinese literary world by Chinese students who were studying in Japan in the 1920s. This paper first investigates the Chinese translation and publication of Japanese I-novels and the research on them in China since the 1920s, and presents the results in chart form. Second, it periodizes the three phases of research into and translation of I-novels throughout almost the past hundred years, the first period extending from 1920 to 1949, before the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the second from 1949 to 1978, which was the period of reform and opening-up, and the third from 1978 to the present. Based on the data presented in the chart of results, this paper analyses and discusses the translation and reception of Japanese I-novels in China during each of the three periods. And also focuses on the typical cases, such as the translation and reception of Naoya’s works, and Dazai’s Ningen Shikkaku. It demonstrates the broad differences between the Japanese I-novels transmitted to Chinese readers and the I-novels in Japan. The paper further verifies that due to the different understanding of the Chinese character “Shi” and its importance in fiction in Chinese and Japanese, Chinese I-novels have been quite different from Japanese I-novels.
