국문 초록

본 논문은 고려시대 원정조하의와 원회의의 구조를 분석하고, 시간과 공간, 의례참여자의 움직임을 재구성하여 의례적 의미를 살핀 것이다. 원정조하는 기본적인 의식 순서가 동지·절일조하와 동일하나, 반수의 치사와 봉표원의 표문올림 사이에 호부상서의 물장 진상 절차가 추가되고, 이후 6위 소속 무관이 구정에서 산호만세를 하는 절차가 포함되어 있어, 그 위상이 동지 조하나 절일조하보다 한층 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 나아가 6위 소속 무관들이 구정에서 산호만세를 하는 행위는 고려 원정조하의 특징이라고 할 수 있다. 원정조하는 수조하와 방조하로 나뉜다. 수조하는 국왕이 직접 참석하며, 방조하는 국왕이 참석하지 못할 때 진행한다. 방조하의 원인은 경령전 배알로 생각된다. 고려국왕은 태음력의 시작에 정치적 상징으로 구성된 조회의장으로 만들어낸 장소(대관전)에서 축하받고, 국왕이 부재해도 경관과 지방관들의 치사와 표문을 통한 축하를 통해 각자의 위치를 재확인함과 동시에 국왕을 정점으로 하는 권력적·사회적 질서를 체득하는 장으로서 기능했다.

영문 초록

This study, focused on WonjeongJohaui(元正朝賀儀, The royal celebration of New Year) and Wonhoel(元會, The royal feast of New Year) in Goryeo Dynasty, analyzed the example related to Wonjeong(luna new year) and the structure of rite, and reconstruct the movements of the participants, time, and space to find the meaning of it. Hobusangseo(戶部尙書)’s donation to the king and Sanhomanse (山呼萬歲, Hail to the king) of the military officer of 6Wi(衛) at koojeong(毬庭) is feature of WonjeongJohaui in Goryeo Dynasty. So it could be thought that the rite was much higher than dongjijoha(冬至朝賀, the royal celebration of winter solstice) and jeoliljoha(節日朝賀, the royal celebration of king s birthday). The aspect of Wonjeongjoha is divided into Soojoha(受朝賀) and Bangjoha(放朝賀). Bangjoha is overwhelmingly numerous. Bangjoha was the way to conduct if the kind doesn’t attend the ceremony. The reason of Bangjoha is thought be the king’s audience at Gyeongryeong-jeon(景靈殿) at the same day. As the king received congratulations at the authority place(大觀殿) that composed as political symbol at the beginning that is time system to be foundation of national system, even in the king’s absence, it functioned that the officials of the central and local governments reconfirm each positions through the congratulatory rituals and learn the authority and social order at the same time in the centered of the king.
