국문 초록

최근 경기침체와 고용 없는 성장, 그리고 실업률을 극복하기 위해 다각적인 해법을 찾고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위한 한 방편으로 창업을 통한 일자리 창출을 중요하게 생각하고 정부는 창업을 적극적으로 권장, 지원하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업가적 개인특성이 창업지원제도인식의 조절효과와 함께 창업의도에 미치는 영향이 있는지에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 전국 성인 남·녀 213명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시했는데, 연구결과 기업가적 개인특성 중 혁신성, 위험감수성, 자율성이 창업의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 관계성은 창업의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 그리고 창업지원제도인식은 창업의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 나타냈다. 한편 창업지원제도인식은 기업가적 개인특성 중 위험감수성과 창업의도 간의 관계에서만 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 창업지원제도인식의 조절효과를 보면, 위험감수성이 창업의도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 창업지원제도를 잘 인식하고 활용능력이 높은 사람일수록 위험을 감수하는 정도가 높아 창업의도가 높음을 확인시켜 주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 창업을 하고자하는 개인과 잠재적 창업자, 예비창업자 뿐만 아니라, 기존의 창업자와 창업교육 담당자들의 기초 자료로 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

영문 초록

In order to cope with the recent economic downturn, growth without employment and unemployment, various solutions are being searched for. As a way to improve this, the creation of jobs through startups is important, and the government actively encourages and supports startups. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of entrepreneur’s personal characteristics on entrepreneurial intention with the moderating effect of perception of startup support system. To this end, a survey was conducted on 213 adult men and women across the country. As the major results, entrepreneur’s personal characteristics showed that innovativeness, risk-taking, and autonomy had a significant positive influence on the intention to start a business, but the relatedness did not have a significant influence. In addition, the perception of the start-up support system had a significant positive effect on the entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, the perception of startup support system, only risk-taking among entrepreneur’s personal characteristics showed a moderating effect in the relationship between entrepreneur’s personal characteristics and entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, by the moderating effect of the perception of startup support system, it was confirmed that in the process of risk-taking affecting entrepreneurial intention, the higher the willingness to accept the risk, the higher the level of entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study can be helpful for existing start-ups and start-up educators as well as individuals and potential start-ups and prospective start-ups.
