국문 초록

본 연구는 OLS 방법을 이용하여 사드 배치 결정에 따른 중국정부의 경제 보복성 대응 관광정책이 방한 중국인 관광객 수요에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명하는데 있다. 본 연구의 다중회귀모델에 포함된 변수는 방한 중국인 관광객 수, GDP, 실질환율, 국제유가 그리고 더미변수는 중국단체관광객 한국관광 전면금지 정책과 부분금지 정책이다. OLS 분석결과 거시경제변수인 GDP, 국제유가, 실질환율의 모든 변수가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 거시경제변수 중에서는 GDP가 방한 중국인 수요에 있어 가장 영향력이 있는 변수로 나타났다. 관광정책 변수의 경우 중국인 관광객 한국 관광 전면금지와 부분 금지 정책 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 두 변수의 추정 계수의 크기는 약 2 배로 나타났다. 결국, 한국과 중국 간 정치적 갈등으로 인한 중국의 경제 보복성 대응 관광 정책은 정책 실행의 강제성으로 인해 방한 중국인 관광객 수요에 미치는 부정적인 영향은 매우 크며, 정책의 강도에 따라 즉각적이고 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 추정된다.

영문 초록

TThe purpose of this study is to empirically identify the effect of the Chinese government s economic retaliatory countermeasure tourism policy following the THAAD deployment decision on the demand of Chinese tourists visiting Korea by using the OLS method. The multiple linear regression model included such as variables as the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea, GDP, real exchange rate, international oil prices and dummy variable of tourism policy which are complete ban and partial ban on Chinese group tourists to korea. As a result of OLS analysis, all the variables of GDP, international oil price, real exchange rate were statistically significant and Among macroeconomic variables, GDP appeared to be the most influential variable in the demand of Chinese tourist to Korea. In the case of tourism policy variables, both policy were statistically significant and the estimated coefficients size of the two tourism policy variables was about double. In conclusion, China s tourism policy to counter economic retaliation from political conflicts between Korea and China has a very negative impact on the demand of Chinese tourists visiting Korea and it is estimated that it responds immediately and sensitively to the strength of the policy.
