국문 초록

본 연구는 부모의 알콜 남용으로 인한 가정폭력 피해 아동이 무엇을 경험하는지를 탐구하는 것이다. 연구 대상자로 부모의 알콜 남용으로 인한 가정폭력 피해를 입은 17명의 아동을 목적 표집 하였다. 자료 수집은 폭력 피해 아동의 그림과 스토리텔링을 적용해 이루어졌고, 내용분석 방법으로 자료를 분석했다. 분석 결과 피해 사건의 특성(5개), 피해 경험의 주제(4개), 피해경험 관련 감정(4개)이 도출되었다. 피해사건의 특성은 갑자기 일어남, 오래 지속됨, 원인 모름, 도움을 기다림, 일방적임이었다. 피해 경험 주제는 죽음, 파괴와 손상, 회피 및 철수, 무망 및 무기력이었다. 피해경험과 관련한 감정은 혼란, 죄책감, 공포와 불안, 슬픔이었다. 각 범주에 대한 참여자의 진술을 분석하고 논의하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의, 한계와 함께 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand how the abused children of domestic violence by parental alcoholic addiction perceive their traumatized experiences. The subjects of this study were 17 children who were abused by domestic violence and who were sheltered in a child protecting institution. They were asked to draw a picture that was related to their experience of domestic violence, and they were also asked to tell a story about the scene. From the collected data, the topic, scene, and emotion in the pictures were qualitatively analyzed. As a result, 4 main themes were derived from the stories about the violence. The four main themes were death, destruction & demage, evasion & withdrawal and hopelessness. The implication of this study was to analyze drawings and storytelling in order to understand the mental and emotional state of the abused children and to help them overcome their traumatized experience.
