자기대면을 통한 자기성찰교육

국문 초록

  이 글은 성인들의 자기성찰을 돕기 위한 글이다. 지식과 정보가 범람하는 현대생활에서 사람들은 자기 내부의 갈등의 소리를 듣고 있다. 자기 삶의 진정성과 통전성을 잃어버린 사람들, 깨어진 인간관계, 삶과 분리된 신앙적 생활로 고통 받는 사람들이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 이 글은 그러한 현실적 고민 속에서 자기를 인식하고 자신의 관계를 회복하고 신앙적 통전성을 추구하려는 사람들에게 자기성찰의 중요성을 강조하고 실천해 보기를 격려함으로써 개인의 변화를 도우려는 목적에서 쓴 글이다.
  필자는 사람들의 자기(self)에 대한 인식의 변화를 통해 교육적 성장을 꾀하는 과정을 ‘자기성찰’이라고 명명하면서 이 과정의 교육프로그램을 구성하고 제시하려고 한다. 기독교교육과 심리학의 간학문적 교류를 시도하는 이 글은 칼 융(Carl Jung)의 심리학적 이론과 그 학파의 사람들에 의해 쓰여진 책을 기반으로 이론화 작업을 취하고 있다. 이 글에서 소개하고 있는 4가지의 프로그램은 개인적으로 혹은 집단에서도 실행할 수 있다.

영문 초록

  This article is a guidance for doing ‘self-reflection’ of adults. People are not paying attention to hear their inner conflicts which are shouting from their deep inside of hearts consciously and unconsciously even though the modern scientific knowledge and technologic information have been flooded. Life is fragmented into many pieces that could not be a tapestry. People are struggling with losing self integrity and broken relationship. Therefore, I want to encourage people to think about their inner selves in order to make an integral life and recover the broken relationship among people. Practicing ‘self-reflection program’ and insisting the importance of self-confrontation, one could experience his/her transforming moment of life.
  I named self reflection as a process of educational development through the change of self-consciousness. My methodology is an interdisciplinary study between Christian education and psychology focused on the theory of Carl lung, a Swiss psychiatrist and utilizing some other theorists who belong his school. I introduced 4 programs for self-reflection through self-confrontation that can be done by both in private and group setting.
