지역주민의 삶의 질 인식형성에 대한 종단연구: 4개 농촌마을을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 농촌관광개발을 추진하고 있는 4개 농촌마을 주민을 대상으로 삶의 질에 대한 인식형성 정도를 2년의 기간 동안 시간적 흐름에 따라서 변화과정을 살펴보고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서의 데이터 수집은 2015년 8월부터 2017년 2월까지 6개월 단위로 총 4회에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 511부의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 ANOVA 분석을 통해 삶의 질을 구성하고 있는 3개 요인의 변화추이를 비교하고 있다. 분석결과, 삶의 질을 구성하고 있는 각각의 요인에 대한 지역주민의 인식은 조사 전 기간에걸쳐 평균(3.0)이상인 것으로 나타나고 있으며, 연구시작 시점에 비해 연구종료 시점까지 지속적으로 상승하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 구체적으로 살펴보면, 조사 초기에는 경제적 만족이 다른 두 개의 요인에 비해 상대적으로 높은 수치를 나타내고 있는 반면에 2차 시점 이후로는 환경적 만족이 다른 두 요인에 비해 상대적으로 높은 수치를 나타내고 있는 것을확인할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과 시사점으로는 삶의 질을 구성하고 있는 3개의 요인에 대해서 지역주민이 인식하는 정도는 시기별로 차이가 있다는 것이며, 기존의 선행연구 결과에 선택적으로 부합하고 있다는 것이다. 특히, 지역주민들은 농촌관광개발로 인한 경제적 측면보다는 환경적측면을 더욱 중요하게 고려하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 향후 농촌관광과 같은 지역사회 관광개발에서 지역사회의 내생적 발전을 위해서는 경제적 측면과 더불어 주민 간의 공동체적인 관계형성을 강화할 수 있는 체계적이고 단계적으로 개발사업을 전개할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study explores the changes in the recognition of quality of life among the four rural community residents in South Korea according to the temporal flow over a period of two years. Data collection in this study was conducted from August 2015 to February 2017 in a total of 4 times for 6 months, and a total of 511 data were collected. The analysis of the collected data compares the changes of the three factors constituting the quality of life through ANOVA analysis. As a results, it was found that the perception of the community residents about the individual factors that constitute the quality of life was above average (3.0) over the whole period of the survey, and that it was continuously rising until the end of the study. Specifically, it can be seen that economic satisfaction is relatively high compared to the other two factors at the beginning of the survey, whereas environmental satisfaction after the second point is relatively high compared to the other two factors have. The implication of this study is that there are differences in the degree of perception among the three factors that constitute the quality of life for the rural community residents, and this is selectively accord with the previous studies. In particular, the major contribution of this study was confirmed that the community residents considered the environmental aspect more important than the economic aspect due to rural tourism development. Therefore, in the development of community tourism such as rural tourism, the endogenous development of the community requires a systematic and phased approach to enhance the economic aspect as well as the formation of community relations among the residents.
