시계열 자료를 이용한 항공 수요예측: 대구국제공항을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 대구국제공항의 항공수요예측을 위하여 2013년 1월부터 2018년 12월까지 월별여객운송 시계열자료를 이용하였다. 항공수요의 경우 계절적 변동이 크기 때문에 Box- Jenkins(1976)가 제시한 ARIMA 모형을 사용하여 예측하였다. 예측결과에 따르면, 대구국제공항 이용객은 2018년 이용객 수요 4,062,833명, 2019년 예측치 4,605,962명, 2020년 예측치 5,295,103명까지 증가할 것으로 보이며, 이는 2018년 대비 2019년 13.37%, 2020년 30.33% 증가한 수치이다. 이러한 증가 추세는 중·단기적으로 지속될 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 향후 대구국제공항의 지속적인 성장을 위해 기존 공항의 부지 여건 내에서 인프라 시설 확충의 경우 항공수요 분산을 위하여 효율성과 경제성을 고려한 정책이 시급하다. 또한, 용량 포화시점에 대비하여 통합 대구국제공항 이전 건설과 새로운 신공항 건설계획의 경우는 연계교통수단의 도입 등 편의성에 집중된 정책이 중요하며 그에 대한 타당성을 충분 히 보완할 수 있도록 지속적인 추후 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

This article used the monthly passenger transportation time series data from January 2013 to December 2018 to forecast the demand of air traffic at Daegu International Airport. For fluctuations in aviation demand, the ARIMA model proposed by Box and Jenkins (1976) was used for analysis. According to the analysis, Daegu International Airport visitors will increase to 4,062,833 peoples(actual demand) in 2018, 4,605,962 in 2019, and 5,295,103 in 2020. This is an increase of 13.37% in 2019 and 30.33% in 2020 compared to 2018, and this trend is expected to continue in the medium to short term. Therefore, in order to continuously grow Daegu International Airport, it is imperative to take into account efficiency and economics in order to diversify air demand in the case of expanding infrastructure facilities within the existing airports. The case of the relocation of Daegu International Airport and the new airport plan in preparation for the congestion of airports, it is important to focus on convenience, such as the introduction of linked transportation, and further research will be necessary to fully supplement the feasibility of the plan.
