청소년의 스마트폰 중독과정에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 참여자의 관점에서 스마트폰 중독과정에 대한 심리적 현상의 본질과 의미를 파악하는 것이다. 6명의 스마트폰 중독 청소년 참여자들이 스마트폰 중독과정에서 드러난 그들의 경험에 대해 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 연구 참여자들의 경험에서 표현된 의미 있는 자료에서 40개의 구성의미가 확인되었 고, 그것을 토대로 분석한 결과는 14개의 주제와 6개의 주제군으로 도출되었다. 청소년들의 스마트폰 중독과정을 요약하면, 첫째, 스마트폰 중독은 ‘희망과 자신감 상실에 따른 현실 도피적인 행동습 관으로 생활하기’에서 비롯되었다. 둘째, 스마트폰 중독은 ‘학교생활과 친구관계에서의 어려움을 견디기’와 관련이 있었다. 셋째, 스마트폰 중독은 ‘부모와 가족관계에서의 외로움을 달래기’ 과정에서 일어났다. 넷째, 스마트폰 중독은 ‘아프고 힘든 감정에서 벗어나기’ 위한 과정에서 나타났다. 다섯째, 스마트폰 중독은 ‘즐거움에 대한 갈증과 갈망에 도취하기’ 과정에서 일어났다. 여섯째, 스마트폰 중독은 중독 대상이 되는 ‘인터넷과 스마트폰 자체의 매력에 빠져보기’ 때문으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the essence and meaning of the psychological phenomena of the process of smartphone addiction from the perspective of youth participants. We analyzed the experiences of 6 youth participants in the process of smartphone addiction by applying the phenomenon of Colaizzi. The results of the study confirmed 40 constructive meanings in the meaningful data expressed from the experience of the participants, and the analysis results were derived from 14 subjects and 6 subject groups. To summarize the process of adolescents addiction to smartphone, First, smartphone addiction was derived from living with escaping behavior habits due to loss of hope and self–confidence . Second, smartphone addiction was related to enduring difficulties in school life and friendship . Third, smartphone addiction occurred during the process of alleviating loneliness in parent-family relationship . Fourth, smartphone addiction was in the process of getting out of a sick and tough feeling Fifth, smartphone addiction occurred during the thirst for joy and thirst for pleasure process. Sixth, smartphone addiction is attributed to the attraction of the Internet and smartphone itself, which is the target of addiction.
