『嶺南樓詩韻 』에 수록된 한시의 특징 연구

국문 초록

이 논문은 최근 새롭게 발굴된 편저자 미상의 필사본 嶺南樓詩韻 을 대상으로 하여 그 안에 수록된 한시의 특징을 살핀 것이다. 영남루시운 은영남루 관련 건물을 6개로 구분한 뒤 각 건물별로 앞에 기문 및 상량문을 수록하고 뒤에 한시를 운목별로 제시하는 방식을 취하고 있다. 수록된 작품은 임진왜란 이전의 것이며 총 작가 수는 412명, 작품 수는 산문 11편, 운문 559수이다. 내용의 특징은 ‘산수’와 ‘감흥’을 기준으로 하여 크게 셋으로 구분되었다. 첫째 산수미를 완상하고 그 감흥을 담은 경우이다. 이때 시인들은 산수 자체에 집중하고 몰입하는 경향을 보였다. 둘째 산수를 감상하면서도 다른 想念에 잠겨 있는 경우이다. 이 작품들은 자신의 임무 수행에 대한 자괴감, 서 울에 있는 군주 생각, 무상감, 이별의 슬픔 등이 산수 감상과 동시에 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 셋째 영남루에 올라 산수를 전혀 감상하지 못하는 경우이다. 민생 구제를 우선시하거나 밀양 일대의 문제로 인해 우민의식을 드러낸 작품들이 이 경우에 해당한다. 형식의 특징은 시형이 칠언율시와 칠언절구 형식을 중심으로 전승되고 연작시 창작이 많은 점을 꼽을 수 있다. 전자는 영남루 제영시가 시형의 다양화를 꾀하지 못한 한계가 있으나 반대로 특정 시형을 중심으로 영남루 제영시의 전통이 확립되고 칠언율시와 칠언절구의 발전에 기여한 점에서 의미가 있으며, 후자는 시인들이 다양한 생각을 표현하고 싶을 때 장편시보다 는 칠언율시와 칠언절구의 전승을 유지할 수 있는 연작의 형태를 더 선호했음을 보여준다. 한편 영남루시운 에 수록된 작품들은 경관 묘사 과정에서 다양한 방식의 참신한 표현이 많았으며 시 전반에 공교한 표현 수법이 활용되어 시의 미감을 더해주는 작품도 있었다. 이처럼 수많은 문인･학자들이 영남루와 그 주변 누정에서 동일한 형식의 창작을 전승하면서도 새로운 표현과 기법으로 경치를 묘사하고 자신의 생각을 드러내었다. 영남루와 그 주변 누정은 문인들의 창작 능력을 제고시킴으로써 다양한 작품을 산생시킨 공간이었던 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of Chinese poems in terms of content, form, and expression in YeonnamrooSiUn, a manuscript that was newly found in recent years and whose compiler was unknown. It distinguishes the buildings related to Yeonnamroo into six, introduces the Gimun and Sangryangmun of each building first, and presents a Chinese poem by the Woonmok later. The works found in the book were created before Imjinwaeran. It covers total 412 writers, 11 prose works, and 559 poetry works. These works were categorized into three major groups for their content characteristics based on the criteria of “scenery” and “appreciation.” The first group includes works that depict the enjoyment and appreciation of beauty in landscapes. In this case, poets tended to concentrate on and get immersed in scenery itself. The second group depicts authors having different thoughts from scenery while appreciating it. These works tend to present the authors sense of shame for their performance, thinking of the monarch in the capital, sense of meaninglessness, and sorrow of parting along with the appreciation of scenery. The last group presents works in which the authors do not appreciate scenery at Yeonnamroo. In these works, the authors put the relief of people s livelihood first or worried about the issues in and around Milyang. As for the characteristics of the works in terms of form, many of them were transmitted based on the forms of Chileonyul poetry and Chileonchilgu and in the form of serial poetry. The former showed the limitations of Jeyeong poems about Yeonnamroo with the diversification of poetic forms, but they established the tradition of Jeyeong poetry about Yeonnamroo around certain poetic forms and contributed to the development of Chileonyul poetry and Chileonchilgu, thus holding their own significance. The latter show that the poets preferred the form of serial poetry to maintain the transmission of Chileonyul poetry and Chileonchilgu to long poetry when trying to express their diverse ideas. In YeonnamrooSiUn, many works are full of original expressions in various modes in the depiction process of landscapes with some works adding an aesthetic sense by adopting elaborate expressive techniques throughout a poem. These findings indicate that a good number of literary figures and scholars used new expressions and techniques to describe landscapes and their thoughts at Yeonnamroo and the nearby arbors while transmitting the same form of creation. Yeonnamroo and the nearby arbors provided literary figures with a space to create various works by increasing their creative abilities.
