영문 초록

This work deals with a review of topology and control method of AC-DC converter to improve power quality and to reduce the total harmonic distortion(THD), filter size, buck, boost, buck-boost and multi-level single-phase AC-DC converters were examined according to the power conversion scheme for generating DC output from AC input. The suitability of each topology for its configuration, control, design features, and intended use was discussed. Further, the current research trends of single-phase AC-DC converter system devices, topology, and control method are discussed. This review will provide guidance to developers, students, and educators who are developing single-phase power conversion circuits.
