국문 초록

본 논문은 17세기의 교육신학자요, 기독교 철학자요, 실천신학의 대가로 평가되는 요한 아모스 코메니우스가 남긴 평화사상과 평화교육에 관하여 연구한 논문이다. 그는 그 당시 보헤미아-모라비아(오늘날 체코 공화국)사람으로, 요한 후스(J. Hus)의 종교개혁의 정신을 계승한 형제 연합교회(Unitas fratrum)의 목사요, 감독이기도 하였다. 그러나 30년 동안 지속되었던 유럽의 종교전쟁(1618-1648)을 경험하면서 인류평 화의 문제를 고민하였고, 실제로 모든 인류가 모든 지혜(Pansophia)를 배우는 전 인류의 범교육(Pampaedia)을 제시하였다. 그것은 전 인류가 그리스도 안에서 온전한 인간성을 회복하고, 무질 서해 진 하나님의 창조세계를 본래의 모습으로 되돌리기 위한 인간의 책임을 깨달으며, 구체적으로 그리스도 안에서 지혜롭고 정의로우며 평화 로운 인류의 삶의 공동체가 전 세계적으로 이루어지도록 하는 평화교육 이었다. 그것은 평화의 주인이신 그리스도를 통한 인류 구원의 신적인 계시 실현의 목표와도 일치한다. 그리고 그의 평화신학은 평화의 주인이신 그리스도를 통하여 실현되는 내적인 구원의 체험으로서의 평화에 한정하지 않고, 약속된 도래하는 천년왕국과 관련하여 영원한 평화 실현을 위한 사회적 실현의 책임도 일깨워주고 있다. 그런 점에서 그의 평화사 상과 평화교육론은 전적으로 기독교적인 것이며, 이 시대에도 여전히 유효한 인류평화를 위한 평화의 신학과 실천방안이라고 할 것이다

영문 초록

This thesis is a study of peace theology and peace education left by John Amos Comenius, who is regarded as the educational theologian, Christian philosopher and practical theology of the 17th century. He was then a Bohemian-Moravian (Czech Republic) person who was also the pastor and bishop of the Union Church of the Brethren, who inherited the spirit of Johann Huss s Reformation. However, by experiencing the European War of Religion(1618-1648), which lasted for 30 years, He was worried about the issue of human peace, and in fact presented the whole education of all mankind to learn all wisdom. It is to awaken the human responsibility of the whole human race to restore the perfect humanity in Christ, to restore the disordered God s creation world to its original form, and to create a community of wisdom, justice, and presented peace education to be carried out globally. It is consistent with the goal of the realization of divine revelation of human salvation through Christ as the Lord of Peace. And his peace theology reminds us of the responsibility of social realization for the realization of eternal peace in relation to the promised millennial kingdom, not only to peace as an experience of internal salvation realized through Christ, the master of peace. In this sense, his philosophy of peace and the theory of peace education is entirely Christian, and it will be a theology and practice of peace for the peace of mankind still valid in this age.
