국문 초록

본 논문은 북한의 정부수립기인 1946~47년 보수개신교 세력의 정치 참여 과정을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 1946년 11월 3일 선거 거부운 동을 계기로 격렬해진 보수 개신교계와 정권의 정치적 대립이 1947년 6월 기독교자유당 창당 시도로 표출되었음을 주목하였다. 따라서 두사건을 하나의 연속적 흐름으로 파악하고자 하였다. 1946년 말‘ 이북5 도연합노회’를 중심으로 전개된 선거 거부운동은 정교분리와‘ 성수주 일(聖守主日)’ 등 종교적 명분을 표방한 것이었지만, 11월 선거가 끝난 1947년 초반부터는 정치적 성격이 한층 강화되면서 북한정권과 정면으로 충돌하는 방향으로 발전하였다. 특히 이들은 미소공동위원회 재개에 즈음하여 기독교 정당을 창설을 시도하면서 제도권 진입을 모색 하기도 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 정치적 갈등에서 과정에서 나타난 소련군정과 북한 노동당 집권세력, 보수개신교 등의 입장과 논리를 재구성하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This essay focuses on the involvement of conservative protestants in politics in 1947~1948 year. In this essay the‘ Christian Free Party’ incident is reviewed as a result of the political conflict between the North Korean conservative protestants and the North Korean regime which has been gathering its intensity after the election in November of 1946 year. North Korean conservative protestants protested the Sunday election on the ground of religious custom, holy week. However, after November election, the North Korean protestants became to express their political inclination intensively and was politically opposed to the North Korean regime. In this essay is reviewed that their intensive political inclination in this period had relation to the American-Soviet Joint Commission in May of 1947 year. The protestants had been opposed to North Korean regime, however their political line became to be changed and they tried to establish‘ Christian Free Party’ in purpose of participation in consulting with the American-Soviet Joint Commission. In this essay was pursued the process of their political conflict with the Soviet military administration and North Korean regime.
