한국국제협력단(KOICA) 연수 참여자의 발명교육에 대한 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국국제협력단(KOICA) 연수 참여자의 발명교육에 대한 인식을 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 발명, 발명교육에 대한 정의, 발명교육의 중요성에 대한 연수 참여자 의 응답을 분석하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연수 참여자들의 발명에 대한 인식은 일반적인 발명에 대한 인식과 다르지 않았다. 또한 그들이 인식하고 있는 발명에 대한 이미지에서 창의적인 답변을 찾을 수 있었다. 둘째, 발명교육에 대한 정의에 있어서 ‘발명능력 개발’, ‘문제해결’, ‘창의적 능력 개발’의 유형을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 ‘문제해결’유형에 있어서 각국이 당면한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 발명교육을 생각하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 발명교육의 중요성 인식에 있어서 국가적 측면과 개인적 측면으로 구분할 수 있었다. 국가적 측면은 다시 국가의 발전, 인적 자원의 개발, 사회를 위한 새로운 아이디어 생성의 3 가지 유형으로 분류할 수 있으며 개인적 측면은 개인의 능력 향상, 변화에의 적응, 삶의 질 향상의 3가지 유형으로 분류할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구의 결론을 바탕으로 한 논의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연수과정을 구성함에 있어 발명에 대한 이해보다는 실제적인 발명교육의 모습을 보여 줄 필요성을 점검할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 다양한 형태의 발명교육 모습을 보여줄 필요성에 대하여 논의되어야 한다. 셋째, 현재 이루어지고 있는 연수뿐만 아니라 한국국제협력단과 협의를 통하여 현지교육 연수로 확장할 필요성에 대한 논의가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze participants’ perception of invention education in Korean International Cooperation Agency. For this purpose, the definition of invention, invention education, and the importance of invention education were analyzed. The conclusions of this study were as follows: First, the participants perception of the invention was not different from the general idea of invention. We were also able to find creative answers in the images of the inventions which they were aware of. Second, in terms of the definition of invention education, the types of invention ability development , problem solving and creative ability development were confirmed. Especially, the study indicated that participants think about inventive education as a way to solve problems faced by countries in type of problem solving . Third, in recognizing the importance of invention education, national aspect and individual aspect could be distinguished. The national aspect can be classified into three types: national development, development of human resources, and generation of new ideas for society. Individual aspects can be classified into three types: improvement of individual ability, adaptation to change, and improvement of quality of life. Based on the results, important conclusions were drawn out. First, in constructing the training course, it is necessary to check the necessity of showing actual invention education rather than understanding the invention. Second, it is necessary to discuss to come up with various forms of invention education. Third, it is necessary to discuss not only the current training but also the necessity of expanding the training to local community through consultation with KOICA.
