국문 초록

이 연구는 메타프락시스 관점에 터해 교과교육으로서 농업생명과학교육의 의미와 가치를 논의한 것이다. 메타프락시스는 가르치고 배우는 사태 속에서 교과의 의미와 가치를 찾는 사상으로 교과교육의 궁극적 목적을 인간의 심성함양으로 정의한다. 실과에서 농업생명과학교육 역시 최근 인지적, 사회적 관점에서 그 의미와 가치가 부각되고 있는바 그것의 가르치고 배우는 교육 사태를 메타프락시스 관점에서 재해석함으로서 교과교육차원에서의 농업생명과학교 육의 당위성과 타당성을 논의하고자 했다. 이 연구를 통해 메타프락시스 관점에서 본 농업생명과학교육의 의미와 가치는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식과 기능을 통합하는 교육, 둘째, 지성의 현시로서의 절차적 행위교육, 셋째, 세계의 실재를 드러내는 교육, 넷째, 윤리적 선을 이끄는 교육, 다섯째, 사회적 품성을 기르는 교육이다. 이 연구의 결과는 그동안 실과교과 내 농업생명과학교육의 의미와 가치를 실험적 데이터와 네러티브적 관점에서 규명한 것에 더해 교육철학적 측면에서 규명한 것으로 이를 통해 ‘심성 함양’이라는 교과교육의 근원적 가치에 농업생명과학교육이 부합함을 증명하고 교과교육 영역에서 농업생명과학교육의 독자성 확보를 정당화 했다.

영문 초록

This study discusses the meaning and value of agricultural life science education from the viewpoint of meta-praxis. Meta-praxis is the idea of finding the meaning and value of the subject in the context of teaching and learning whereas the ultimate goal of subject matter education is defined as cultivating human mind. In recent years, agricultural life science education has become more important in terms of cognitive and social viewpoint. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the educational situation of teaching and learning from the viewpoint of meta-praxis and to discuss the justification and validity of the agricultural life science education in terms of subject matter education with the viewpoint of meta-praxis. The meaning and value of agricultural life science education from the viewpoint of meta-praxis through this study are as follows. First, it is education which integrates knowledge and function. Second, procedural behavior education is considered as manifestation of intellect. Third, education is to reveal reality of the world. Fourth, education is to lead ethical goodness. Fifth, education is to raise social personality. The results of this study show that the meaning and value of agricultural life science education have been clarified in terms of educational philosophy in addition to the experimental data and the narrative point of view. The study showed that the value of agricultural life science education is in conformity with the fundamental value of subject matter education called cultivation of mind , and justified the uniqueness of agricultural life science education in subject matter education.
