국문 초록

전통차를 매개로하는 다도활동은 과거 전통사회에서 현대사회에 이르기까지 여가활동의 일환으로 자리매김해오고 있다(국민여가활동조사 참조). 그러나 여가로서 다도활동이 현대사회에 들어와서 급격히 위축되고 있는데도 불구하고 그 원인을 밝혀내기 위한 과학적인 규명은 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문은 여가활동의 일환으로서 다도활동이 활성화되지 못하는 현상을 과학적으로 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 논문에서는 여가참여 여부를 결정짓는 이론적 틀로서 ‘동기-협상 통합 모형(motivation-negotiation integrated model)’을 다도활동 참여 여부를 분석하는 모형으로 원용하였다. 그리고 이 이론적 모형을 실증적으로 분석할 수 있는 방법론으로 구조방정식에 기반을 둔 경로분석(path analysis) 모형을 소개하였다. 마지막으로 다도활동 참여를 제약하는 요인을 내재적, 대인적, 구조적 요인으로 분류하고, 향후 실증적 분석을 위해 차문화의 가치와 특성을 고려한 변수들을 제안해 보았다. 본 연구에서 수립된 이론적, 실증적 분석모형은 향후 관련 데이터가 확보 될 경우 여가활동으로서 다도활동이 위축되어가는 현상을 과학적으로 분석하는데 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

Korean traditional tea ceremony activities have become a part of leisure activities in traditional society and modern society(Refer to Survey on National Leisure Activities). However, the number of people participating in Korean traditional tea ceremony activities as leisure has dramatically decreased in modern Korea society. And there is no academic investigation to find out that cause. This paper analyzed the reason why Korean traditional tea ceremony activities are not activated as leisure activities. In this paper, we use hierarchical model of leisure constraints as a theoretical framework to determine leisure participation. And we introduced a path analysis model based on structural equation as a methodology to analyze empirically the hierarchical model of leisure constraints . Finally, we classify the factors as leisure constraints in tea ceremony activities as intrapersonal, interpersonal, and structural factors. And for future empirical analysis, we proposed the variables considering the value and characteristics of tea cultures. The theoretical and empirical analysis model established in this study will contribute to the scientific analysis of the constraints on the Korean traditional tea ceremony activities in the future.
