The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect on the reconstructed class by a robot instead of a electronic kit on ‘Making electronic kit’ of ‘Unit 7. Life with electricity and electron’, which is on the fifth grade students and how it works to children’s understanding, self-confidence, interest and attitude. The robot class instead of ‘unit of making electronic products’ is reconstructed for this study and it deals with before and after for the sphere of understanding, confidence, interest and attitude on that unit. The study divided test class and comparison class into two parts. Those groups could be regarded as the same group because there was no specific difference. To compare the average between them and to find the result of children’s recognition about the electronic unit of practical art is used t-test and the pre-test and the post-test. The results are summarized as follows: First of all, there was no significant difference in the pre-test, but meaningful differences were detected on the understanding, confidence, interest and attitude about the electronic unit in the after test. The study show that the test class’s average rate was higher than the comparison class in the after test: the former one was applied with the class of a robot and the latter one was applied with the class of a electronic kit, and the class of a robot could help children’s recognition. Secondly, in the understanding sphere, there was a significant difference between them in the pre- and post-test, but both groups’ average were lower than other spheres. It seemed that the children were in difficulties about the unit of electronic. Thus, it is necessary to develop more effective learning materials and programs for children. Finally, in the attitude sphere, the result was that both groups were different each other according to the post-test. It seemed that both groups’ children were interested in each class. The study drew a conclusion that the class of a robot is more effective than the class of an electronic kit for children’s recognition. Further more, the robot class has to be authorized steadily to develop the education of the electronics.
