국문 초록

본 연구는 학교장의 변혁 지향적 지도성과 교내 자율 장학의 관계를 탐색함으로서 학교 현장에서 교내 자율 장학의 활성화 필요성을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌 연구를 통해 지도성의 개념, 변천 과정을 살펴 보았으며, 학교장의 변혁 지향적 지도성 이론의 형성 배경, 개념, 특성과 요인, 측정 도구에 대해 살펴 보았다. 그리고 교내 자율 장학의 이론으로 장학의 개념, 교내 자율 장학의 개념과 특성, 기능과 영역, 형태와 과정을 살펴 보았으며, 교내 자율 장학의 하위 변인으로 시행 여건, 시행 계획, 실행, 평가의 내용을 파악 하였다. 학교장의 변혁 지향적 지도성과 교내 자율 장학의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 교내 자율 장학에서의 학교장의 역할과 자질, 학교장의 노력을 살펴보았고, 선행 연구를 통해 두 연구의 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 학교장의 지도성 유형에 따라 교내 자율 장학의 효과성이 달라짐을 알게 되었다. 결론적으로 학교장의 변혁 지향적 지도성은 교내 자율 장학에 영향을 미치며, 교내 자율 장학의 효과성을 높이기 위해서는 학교장의 변혁 지향적 지도성을 증진시키는 일이 필요하다고 여겨진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to suggest the plans to activate autonomous supervision in school by the research on the relations between transformational leadership of school principals and autonomous supervision in school. The major results were as follows : First, the teachers had relatively positive perceptions of the transformational leadership of the principals. It was understood That the union promotion was most adopted by the principals among the subfactors of transformational leadership. second, the teachers had generally positive perceptions of autonomous supervision in school. Third, there were slightly significant positive relations between the principals’ transformational leadership and autonomous supervision on school, which implies that the more positive perception the teachers have of the transformational leadership of the principals, the more positive perception they have of autonomous supervision in school. consequently, it was proved that the transformational leadership of principals had significant impacts on autonomous supervision in school. Thus it’s necessary to promote their transformational leadership in order to increase the effects of autonomous supervision in school.
