영문 초록

The workforce inflow is the important role for developing global cities. This paper is aimed to identify the relation between the urban amenities and the determinants of residential location choice. We use the jobs-housing ratio as a proxy for the residential location decision, and estimate the effects of economic, convenient, cultural and environmental characteristic using spatial econometrics method. We find that the effects of amenities on jobs-housing ratio vary in each job group because of job characteristic differences. Spatial dependence appears in locational choice of creative and office job worker groups due to geographic concentration in industries related to those jobs.
