영문 초록

The ppose of this study is to I∞，k into the Gu-bup nratives of rSam-guk_yu-saJ and then on the basis of the results(fruits) obtain어 from it, to examine its relation prorties with friendship novels in the age of Chosun dynasty. It s않ns that both the Gu-bup Tatives and friendship novels have consider friendship as the core of hurnan relations, ld the work to inquire into their mutua1 relation is significant greatly. The results of studyn be summarized as follows: First, Sam-guk-yu-sa contains many narratives in which two persons rnake a pair and seek the teaching of Buddha, these narratives can be cled as two rson Gu-bup narratives’. These narratives made use of bud뻐stica1 friendship as a subje matter, it s ms that the author of Sam-guk-yu-sa gras a conflict relation among characters from various points of view and then intended to solve it with buddhistica1 friendship. Second, the composition principle of Gu-bup narratives assmnes the form that a relatively less-defect partner realizes friendship toward much-defect partner. There is a plausible reason for the editor to take this composition principle, which seems to be J::xcause there was a consciousness being at work that a better person, even if it is a little, should not do anything, but influence on a harder person. Third, even though Gu-bup narratives and friendship novels are simíl in framework or structure, it does not seem that the creative technique of Gu-bup narrative was adop1:t to friendship novels as it was. When being based on the biography, friendship nove]s have adopted the creative technique of Gu-bup narratives, on the other hand, it also adop the shape-ization tradition formed before Gu-bup narrative.
