음악교과에서의 ‘핵심역량’ 수용 가능성 탐색을 위한 델파이 조사 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미래사회 인재 육성을 위하여 음악교육을 통해 함양할 수 있는 핵심역량 및 인성교육 요소를 알아보고 그에 따른 음악교육과정의 성격과 역할을 탐색하는 것이다. 16명의 음악교육 전문가를 대상으로 총 3차에 걸쳐 이루어진 델파이 설문조사 결과 음악교육을 통해 길러질 수 있는 역량 및 인성요소들에 대해 대체적으로 합의된 개념을 도출할 수 있었다. 음악교육전문가들은 음악교과에서 중요시해야 할 목표로 ‘음악을 통한 삶의 이해’와 ‘음악을 통한 미적 경험’을 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 음악교육을 통해서 길러져야 할 핵심역량으로 ‘음 악적 표현 능력’이 가장 중요하게 인식되고 있었다. 음악교육을 통해 길러질 수 있는 인성요소는 ‘소통’, ‘공감’, ‘책임감’, ‘배려’, ‘타인존중’의 순으로 나타났다. 인성에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 음악활동으로는 ‘타인과 함께 하는 음악적 협동 활동’이 가장 많이 지목되었으며 이어 ‘음악에 대한 정서적 반응’, ‘심미적 음악체험’, ‘연주와 공연 등의 음악경험’이 제시 되었다.

영문 초록

Through a Delphi survey targeting music education professionals, this study is intended to explore the key competencies and character-related components that can be cultivated through music education for producing ideal talents of future society, as well as the nature and roles of corresponding curriculum. A total of three surveys revealed that music education professionals consider understanding of life through music and aesthetic experience through music as the most important goal of music curriculum. As for key competencies to be cultivated through music education, ‘musical ability to express was perceived as the most important one, followed by understanding of musical concepts , ability to appreciate music , musical sensibility and ability to read music score . As musical activities that can positively affect one s character, ‘collaborative musical activities shared with others’ received the most responses, followed by emotional responses to music , music-based aesthetic experience , experience playing a complete musical work through performances , and play-based musical activities . Regarding current music curriculum, most respondents stated it doesn t effectively deal with musical experience and character-related educational components.
