부모공감 및 회복탄력성이 학교적응에 미치는 영향:

국문 초록

본 연구는 부모 공감이 자녀의 학교적응에 미치는 영향에 있어서 회복탄력성의 매개효과와 각 경로를 조절하는 위험요인으로서 아동학대를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기 수도권 소재 중학교, 고등학교 학생 919명을 대상으로 부모공감, 회복탄력성, 아동학대경험, 학교적응 척도를 측정하여 통계분석을 진행하였다. 그 결과 부모공감이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향이 유의미한 것으로 나타나 부모공감이 높아질수록 회복탄력성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 부모공감이 학교적 응에 미치는 영향도 유의미하여서 부모공감이 높을수록 학교적응 역시 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 회복탄력성이 학교적응에 미치는 영향은 유의미하게 나타났으나 부모공감이 학교적응에 직접적인 영향을 주지는 않아 회복탄력성은 부모공감이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 경로를 완전매개 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 다음으로 부모공감이 회복탄력성과 학교적응에 미치는 영향에 있어 아동학대경험은 부분적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부모공감이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향력 에 있어서만 아동학대경험은 조절변수의 역할을 하는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 부모의 양육태도에 있어 공감의 중요성과 학대가 미치는 부정적인 영향을 다시 한 번 부각시키고 부모공감 훈련 및 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 시사 점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderated mediating effect of child abuse through resilience on the association between parental empathy and school adjustment. A total of 919 participants were sampled from 12 middle school students and high school students in Seoul and Kyunggi Province and they were asked to complete the questionnaires. As a result, parental empathy had a significant effect on resilience and parental empathy had a significant effect on school adjustment as well. Although resilience had a significant effect on school adjustment, But, because parental empathy did not have a direct effect on school adjustment, a mediating model showed that an association between parental empathy and school adjustment was completely mediated by resilience. Next, in the influence of parental empathy on resilience and school adjustment, child abuse partially had a significant effect. That is, child abuse moderated only the effect of parental empathy on resilience. The findings emphasized the importance of parental empathy and the negative effect on child abuse. Also implications for development of parental empathy training and education program suggested.
