국문 초록

『자류주석』의 전거가 된 『훈몽자회』의 각 표제자를 『자류주석』에서 찾아 그 분류항목을 비교하여 분류항목의 분할과 통합의 양상을 살펴보았다. 먼저 분류 항목의 통합은 『훈몽자회』에서 여러 부류에 분류되어 나타나던 표제자가 『자류주석』에서는 하나의 부류에 분류 수록되어 나타나는 현상을 말한다. 『자류주석』에서 하나로 통합되어 나타나는 『훈몽자회』의 여러 부류를 살펴보면 그 부류 역시 의미적으로 연관성이 있는 것으로 『자류주석』에서 『훈몽자회』의 여러 부류들을 하나로 통합할 수 있는 보다 폭넓은 의미 범주의 분류항목이 설정되어 통합이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 분류항목의 분할은 『훈몽자회』에서 하나의 부류에 수록된 표제자가 『자류주석』의 여러 부류에 나타나는 분할의 양상을 말한다. 이러한 분류항목의 분할은 『훈몽자회』에서 일반적이고 포괄적인 의미로 분류항목이 설정되었다면 『자류주석』에서는 보다 구체적이고 개별적인 의미로 분류항목이 설정되어 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다. 이처럼 『자류주석』에서는 『훈몽자회』에 수록된 한자들의 의미 구분을 매우 정밀하게 하여 분할과 통합이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록
