영문 초록

This paper deals with an efficient algorithm for transmitting the filter information in motion compensated prediction using adaptive interpolation filter. Proposed algorithm decide whether the filter will be transmit or not using macroblock type and motion vector position information. And If it will be required filter information transmitting, it will transmit finally through already generated variable length code table by generation frequency of selected filter. As a experiment result, I recognized that proposed algorithm can reduce the average 69.82% and 10.37% for additional bit rate and the whole bit rate individually as compared with existing method.
