들뢰즈의 생성론과 교양교육의 이념

국문 초록

교양교육의 교과화, 범주화는 경직화되고 관료화된 교양교육을 양산할 우려를 안고 있다. 들뢰즈의 생성론은 이러한 문제의식에 대응하는 대안을 제시한다. 우리는 존재의 일의성에서 출발하는 생성에 대한 논의를 교양교육 담론에 응용함으로써 지평의 확대를 모색할 수 있다. 들뢰즈는 왜곡된 ‘사유의 이미지’를 뛰어넘어 ‘사유의 고양’에 이르기 위해 교양과 파이데이아의 문제를 평생에 걸쳐 재검토한다. 들뢰즈의 교양은 ‘어떤 과격한 훈련, 배움의 운동, 비자발적인 것의 모험’을 통해 획득되는 것으로, 생성론에 입각해 교양교육의 탄생과정-규범-변화(파국)를 이해하는 일은 교양교육의 이념을 재고할 수 있게 해준다.

영문 초록

This study examines the meaning of general education in Deleuze. Deleuze’s argument of paideia(culture) is connected with apprendre(apprenticeship). Deleuze’s idea of apprendre for the better learning is the core element in his paideia. In this idea, the problem of becoming forms a theoretical background. So we can apply to the discourse of general education in Deleuze’s argument and extend the theoretical horizon. In this motivation, this study analyses the ontological, structural and three examples aspects in Deleuze’s becoming. For Deleuze, ‘difference itself’ is the motivative engine that changes from ‘the ontological equivocity’ in Aristoteles to ‘the ontological univocity.’ The discussion of becoming has a continuous phase called by ‘the genesis-norm-change(collapse)’ and we are able to apply to general education. Deleuze explores culture(Bildung) and paideia in his lifelong to escape the distorted ‘image of thought’. The logic of ‘apprendre’ becomes a key to understand culture and education. This study examines Deleuze’s culture through the discussion of becoming(devenir) ‘between’ culture and education. In his phrase, it gets through “some violent training, the movement of ‘apprendre’ and the unspontaneous adventure”. We argue the idea of general education focused on the establishing logic.
