고전과 생태관광을 활용한 교과 연계 인성교육 자료 개발

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 교과와 연계된 인성교육의 실천적 방안을 제시하기 위하여 고전과 생태관광을 활용한 체험중심의 인성교육을 위한 자료를 탐색·개발·예시하는 것이다. 연구의 이론적 기초로서 인성교육의 개념, 교과 연계 인성교육, 고전과 생태관광을 활용한 인성교육을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 고전인 『명심보감(明心寶鑑)』과 생태관광을 활용한 교과 연계 인성교육 자료 개발에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고전으로서 명심보감은 인성교육진흥법에서 제시한 8대 덕목-예(禮), 효(孝), 정직, 책임, 존중, 배려, 소통, 협력-이 포함된 것을 확인했으며, 이들 중 효(孝) 덕목을 교과와 연계하여 인성교육 자료를 개발·제시하였다. 둘째, 생태관광과 교과교육을 연계한 인성교육 자료를 개발함으로써 인성교육에서 전통문화체험의 활용가능성을 제시하였다. 셋째, 고전과 생태관광을 활용하여 교과와 연계한 인성교육 예시자료를 개발하고 그 실천 방안을 제시하였다. 결론적으로 고전과 생태관광을 특정 교과와 연계한 인성교육은 다양한 교수·학습방법과 활동을 통하여 실천 가능하다. 후속 연구로서 고전의 내용과 인성 덕목을 연계하는 목록화 작업과 고전과 생태관광을 교과와 연계하는 수업설계에 대한 방향 제시는 체험중심 인성교육의 활성화에 많은 공헌이 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study was to develop the instructional materials for character education linked subject matters with classics and ecotourism. As a theoretical foundation of research, the concept of character education, character education linked subject matters, and character education with classics and ecotourism were examined. The results of the study are summarized as follows. Firstly, we have confirmed that MingxinBaojian(明心寶鑑) as a classic is composed of the eight virtues-etiquette(禮), filial piety(孝), honesty, responsibility, respect, care, communication, and cooperation- presented in ‘the Character Education Promotion Act.’ And we have proposed the examples of instructional materials for character education which connect the virtue of filial piety(孝) with the subject matters. Secondly, we have suggested to utilize the experience of traditional culture trip with ecotourism for character education. Lastly, we have developed an example of character education linked classics and ecotourism with subject matters and suggested instructional materials/activities for action plans in schools. In conclusion, character education, which links classics and ecotourism with specific subject matters, can be practiced through various teaching and learning methods and materials. As a follow-up study, it is expected that the cataloging of themes linking contents of classics with virtues and the direction for instructional design linking classics and ecotourism with subject matters will contribute to the activation of character education.
