국문 초록

식민지 시기의 한국 번역문학사는 일본어를 경유한 서양문학의 중역에 압도된 반면 동아시아 근대문학은 세계문학 관념에 포섭되지 않았 다. 중국과 일본의 근대문학은 번역할 수 없거나 번역되지 않았다. 정세 변화에 따라 단속적으로 이어진 중국 근대문학 번역은 루쉰 소설과 해방 기의 사상적 모색을 통해 역사성을 드러냈다. 창작으로 위장되거나 번안으로만 존립한 일본문학은 종주국의 근대문학 정전에 대한 단절과 통속 화를 초래했다. 중국문학과 일본문학 번역의 역사적 성격은 동아시아에서 근대 번역을 둘러싼 연속성과 불연속성을 집약적으로 보여 주었다.

영문 초록

The translated literature during the colonial period was inundated with second-hand translations of Western literature via Japanese, but the modern literature of East Asia was excluded from perceptions of world literature. Chinese and Japanese modern literature were prohibited from being translated or simply not translated in the history of translated literature during the colonial period. Translations of Chinese modern literature, which were carried out intermittently according to social changes, displayed historicity through Lu Xun’s novels and search for ideology during the liberation period. On the other hand, translations of Japanese literature, which had existed only as adaptations or disguised creations, brought about isolation from canon and popularization of the modern literature of suzerain. The historicity of Chinese and Japanese literature translations intensively displayed the continuity and discontinuity surrounding modern translation in East Asia.
