시니어 클럽 이용여성 노인의 근로활동이 사회적 자본에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 시니어클럽(노인일자리지원기관)을 이용하는 여성 노인의 사회적 자본 수준을 살펴보고, 근로활동 특성이 사회적 자본에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하여 여성 노인들이 건강한 노년을 영위할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 2017년 01월 16일부터 01월 26일까지 충남 예산군시니어클럽을 이용하는 여성노인 254명에게 설문조사를 실시하였으며 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 근로활동 유형에 따른 사회적 자본 차이는 시장형(제조·판매형)에 참여할수록 개인신뢰, 사회참여 수준이 높았으며, 근로활동 기간이 길수록 개인신뢰, 호혜적 규범, 개인 및 집단 교류가 높게 나타났다. 또한 근로활동 형태가 일용직 같은 비전형 근로에서 시간제 근로일수록 개인신뢰, 호혜적 규범, 개인 및 집단 교류가 높게 나타났다. 또한 교육수준, 건강상태 등에서 사회적 자본에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석을 바탕으로 여성 노인의 근로활동 지원 방향과 사회적 자본 형성을 위한 방안은 다음과 같다. 먼저 근로유형을 시장형(전문서비스) 형이나 일용직 같은 인력파견형에서 벗어나 연중으로 근로가 가능한 시장형(제조판매형) 사업 개발 및 지원이 필요하다. 또한 근로기간도 11개월 미만의 한시적 근로에서 벗어나 연중근로가 가능하도록 지원해야 한다. 마지막으로 시니어클럽은 다양한 주체와 네트워크를 구축하여 자원이 모이는 장의 역할과 지역사회의 사회적 자본의 역할을 감당하여야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest a way to support the elderly women to maintain a healthy old age by examining the level of social capital of the elderly women using the senior club. From January 16, 2017 to January 26, 2017, a survey was conducted on 254 elderly women using senior clubs. The results of the study are as follows. As the social capital difference according to the types of working activities, the higher the level of individual trust and social participation, the higher the participation in the market type (manufacturing and sales type), and the longer the working period, the higher the personal trust, reciprocal norm, individual and group exchanges. Also, as the type of work activity is from non-standard work such as daily work to part-time work, personal trust, reciprocal norms, and individual and group exchanges are higher. In addition, it shows that social capital has a significant effect on education level and health status. The following are the directions for supporting the work activities of elderly women and forming social capital. It is necessary to develop and support a market type (manufacturing and selling type) business which can work from the labor type dispatching type such as market type (professional service) or day labor. In addition, the period of working should also be extended from the temporary work less than 11 months to enable year-round work. Finally, senior clubs should establish a network of diverse subjects to support the role of the resource pool and the social capital of the community.
