교사-학부모 소통의 도구로서의 네이버 밴드(BAND) 활용 고찰

국문 초록

최근 학교에서는 교사와 학부모 간의 소통을 통해 학생인권과 교권을 서로 존중할 수 있는 풍토를 조성하고, 교원이 교권침해에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램 도입이 시급한 형편이다. 스마트폰 보급과 함께 다양한 SNS 애플리케이션이 출시되어 우리생활에 깊숙이 자리 잡았다. 그중에서도 NHN의 BAND 애플리케이션은 간단한 상담이나 공지 전달 용도로 주로 사용되며 통화나 대면 상담보다 편리하고 부담이 적어 활용이 기대가 되는 애플리케이션이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 NHN BAND 애플리케이션을 활용한 교사와 학부모의 간의 상담과 프로그램을 통한 상호작용을 분석하였다. 밴드의 소통 도구로서의 기능을 분석하기 위해 3개 학교에서 총 5개의 밴드에 대한 게시물과 댓글을 통한 분석을 했으며 그에 대한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째 밴드는 교사-학부모 소통의 도구로서 활용이 가능하다. 둘째, 결국 밴드의 활용은 교사의 지속적인 콘텐츠를 제공해야 한다. 셋째, 밴드를 활용한 소통의 필요성이 수반되어야 한다. 넷째, 폐쇄형 SNS로서 교사와 학부모의 사생활이 보장이 된다. 밴드 프로그램에 대한 한계와 개선점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학부모의 불필요한 민원이 야기 될 수 있다. 둘째, 밴드 프로그램이 교사-학부모 소통의 전부가 되어서는 안 된다. 학교에서의 소통의 방향은 점차 변화하고 있으며 이에 대한 고민과 시대에 맞는 프로그램 계발은 앞으로도 쭉 이어져야 한다.

영문 초록

Recently, it has become urgent to create an atmosphere where students rights and teachers rights can be respected by each other through the communication between Teachers and students, as well as to adopt a program that can support faculty members to actively respond to the infringement of teachers rights. Various SNS applications have been released with the distribution of smartphone and have been deeply established in our life. Among them, NHN s BAND application is mainly used for simple counseling or delivering announcements, has little burden and is more convenient that phone call or face-to-face counseling, so its usage has a high expectation. Therefore, this study analyzed the interactions between teachers and parents through counseling and program using NHN BAND application. The study analyzed the posts and replies of 5 BAND pages from 3 schools to analyze the functions of BAND as a communciation tool, and the results were as follows. First, BAND can be used as a tool for parent-teacher communication. Second, the use of BAND must continuously provide contents to teachers. Third, the necessity of communication using BAND must be accompanied. Fourth, BAND must guarantee the privacy of teachers and parents as a closed SNS. The limitations and the improvements of BAND program are as follows. First, unnecessary suggestions and complaints of parents can arise. Second, BAND program must not be all of parent-teacher communication. The direction of school communication is changing gradually, and it is necessary to continuously think about them and develop a program that fits the times.
