초등 예비교사의 발명교육에 대한 관심도:

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등 예비교사의 발명교육에 대한 관심도를 확인하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이 연구의 대상은 A교육대학교 3학년 학생 112명이며, Hall & Hord(2006)의 관심단계설문지를 바탕으로 연구 도구를 개발하여 적용한 후, 간이 채점표를 이용해 상대적 강도인 %로 전환하여 분석하였다. 이 연구에서는 초등 예비 교사는 전반적으로 발명 교육에 무관심한 ‘비사용자’의 단계에 있으나, 동료 및 관련 전문가와 협력하고 정보를 공유하고 싶어 하는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구에서 초등 예비교사의 발명교육에 대한 관심도는 성별에 따른 큰 차이를 확인할 수 없었으나, 남학생은 발명교육에 대한 새로운 정보를 얻는 것에 관심이 큰 편이고 여학생은 발명교육의 도입이 본인에게 미치는 영향에 관심이 큰 편임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 초등 예비교사의 발명교육에 대한 관심도를 결정하는 가장 큰 요인이 발명 교육 및 연수 경험임을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉, 초등 예비교사 중에서 발명교육 및 연수 경험이 있는 학생은 ‘초기 사용자’ 단계에 있으나, 발명교육 및 연수 경험이 없는 학생은 발명교육에 대해 무관심한 ‘비사용자’ 단계에 있음을 알 수 있었다. 학교 교육을 통한 발명 교육이 성공하기 위해서는 발명교육에 무관심한 ‘비사용자’ 상태의 초등 예비교사를 ‘초기 사용자’ 단계로 전환시키는 노력이 필요하다. 또한, 현재 ‘자신’에 머물러 있는 초기 사용자의 관심 단계를 ‘과제’ 및 ‘영향’ 단계로 끌어올리기 위한 정책적 노력이 요구된다. 교사 교육 단계에서 발명 교육 및 연수의 경험을 충분히 제공하고, 발명 교육 전문가 및 동료와 협력하고 정보를 나눌 수 있는 공유의 장을 마련하여야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the stages of concerns about invention education of pre-service elementary school teacher according to the concerns-based adoption model. The subjects for this study were 112 students on 3rd year of A university of education. The instrument for this study was developed according to the Hall & Hord(2006) s stages of concerns questionnaire and the data were analyzed with the SoCQ quick scoring device. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The stage of concerns about invention education of pre-service elementary school teacher was generally non-user stage that unconcerned with invention education. However it was identified the tendency that they would like to join with peer and expert group of invention education. 2. There was no definite difference on the profile of the stages of concerns about invention education according to the gender of pre-service elementary school teacher. However it was identified the tendency that the male students tend to interest in getting new information, and the female students tend to interest in the influence of invention education. 3. The major factor on the stages of concerns about invention education is the experience of education or training on invention education. The students group that has experience on education or training was in early-user , and the students group that has no experience on education or training was in non-user . We need to make an effort to transfer from non-user stage to early-user stage of pre-service elementary school teacher, and to bring the stage up from self stage to task and impact stage of early-user group. So we should provide the chance to experience on invention education, and prepare the place to join and share with peer and expert group of invention education.
