2007년 개정 중학교 환경 교육과정과 연계성을 고려한 초등학교 환경 교육 내용 체계 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육과정이 발표된 시점에서 실제 개정 교육과정이 시행될 때, 교사들이 환경과 연관된 교과, 재량 및 특별활동 시간의 수업설계 시에 활용할 수 있는 중학교와 연계된 초등학교 환경교육 내용체계와 구체적인 수업활동 예시를 개발하는데 목적이 있으며, 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌연구와 조사연구를 하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제 7차와 개정 교육과정의 환경교육 내용은 학년 간의 연계성이 부족하고, 일부 영역중심으로 되어 있다. 둘째, 중학교와 연계된 초등학교 내용 체계 최종안은 ‘대영역’, ‘중영역’, ‘내용’, ‘수업활동 예시’로 구성되었다. 셋째, 대영역은 ‘환경과 나’, ‘우리의 생활환경’, ‘환경의 변화와 지속가능발전’, ‘자원과 에너지’, ‘환경윤리’, ‘환경위생’의 6개 영역이다. 넷째, 중영역은 ‘환경과 나의 관계’, ‘생태계 속의 나’, ‘생명의 근원 물’, ‘살아 숨 쉬게 하는 공기’, ‘생명의 터전 흙’, ‘우리 활동과 환경의 변화’, ‘지속가능한 생활양식’, ‘생활 속의 자원’, ‘생활 속의 에너지’, ‘건강한 환경 유지를 위한 윤리’, ‘생명윤리’, ‘환경문제에서 합리적 의사 결정’, ‘깨끗하고 영양가있는 식품섭취’, ‘깨끗하고 아름다운 주거환경’의 14개 영역이다. 다섯째, 연구자는 내용 체계를 ‘대영역’, ‘중영역’이외에 18개의 ‘내용’과 ‘수업활동예시’로 구성하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop learning activities and systematize contents in elementary environmental education connected with middle school. For that, the researcher collected and analyzed contents and problems of the 7th elementary environmental education curriculum and connection of the new environmental curriculum contents in elementary and middle school. The researcher developed systematic contents and learning activities based on these analysis. The survey to verify its appropriateness was carried out with the subjects of 35 experts in the field of elementary environmental education. Among the experts, 30 of them made their responses on the questionnaire. The following conclusions have been obtained by the results of this research. First, systematic contents consist of four parts; major field, middle field, contents, learning activities. Second, the major field includes environment and me, our life environment, the environmental changes and sustainable development, resources and energy, environmental ethics, environmental hygiene. The middle field includes relationship between environment and me, human beings and the ecosystem, water-the resource, air in order to maintain the life, soil-origin of the life, human s activity and the environmental change, sustainable life style, resources from our life, energy from our life, ethics for clean environment, bioethics, reasonable decision making on environment problem, consuming goods and highly nutritious food products, clean and beautiful residential environment. And systematic contents include 18 contents, a lot of learning activities. There is discrepancy in ability among elementary students. So, proper grade need to be made on learning activities.
