초등 실과 교과서 ‘생활과 전기･전자’ 단원의 용어 통일에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따라 2015년에 처음으로 실제 교육 현장에 적용된 6 종류의 초등 실과 6 교과서 ‘생활과 전기･전자’ 단원에서 동일한 전기･전자 관련 부품 및 기구의 명칭이나 기능, 내용을 기술할 때, 서로 다르게 사용된 용어나 표현에 대하여 통일된 용어와 표현을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교과서별로 서로 다른 용어나 표현에 대하여 통일된 용어와 표현으로 정리하고, 이를 전국 교육대학교 실과교육과 및 실과 관련 심화과정 소속의 공업･기술 영역 담당 교수들에게 제시하여 통일된 용어와 표현이 적절한지에 대한 의견을 물었으며, 교수들이 제안하는 의견을 반영하여 용어와 표현을 수정 정리하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전국 교육대학교 실과교육과 및 실과 관련 심화과정 소속의 공업･기술 담당 교수와 교육대 학에 재학하고 있는 예비교사들도 ‘생활과 전기･전자’ 단원의 전기･전자 부품 및 기구의 명칭과 기능에 대한 설명, 로봇과 관련된 용어와 표현에서 교과서별로 통일의 필요성을 느끼고 있었다. 둘째, 전기･전자 부품의 명칭이나 기능에 대한 기술에서 정확한 학술적 용어나 표현으로 나타내지 않고 교과서 집필자 개인이 학습하거나 참고하였던 자료에서 보았던 용어나 표현으로 나타내었다고 판단되었으며, 이러한 용어와 표현의 통일을 위하여 교과서를 집필할 때 용어 사용에 대한 지침이나 표준화된 용어 사전이 제시되어야 한다. 셋째, ‘로봇의 이해’ 중단원에 대한 교육과정의 성취기준에서 로봇 및 센서의 종류에 대하여 그 범위를 구체화하여 나타내는 것이 필요가 있다. 넷째, 검인정 교과서를 개발할 때는 동일한 단원에서 사용하는 용어와 내용의 표현에서 표준화가 이루어지면, 단원의 교수･학습의 효율화를 이룰 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 서로 다른 용어를 사용하거나 다르게 표현함으로써 생겨날 수 있는 여러 가지 문제점들이 해소될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to present the unified terms and expressions for the terms and expressions used differently in each textbook for the Life and Electrical and Electronics section of elementary Practical Arts 6 textbook. The elementary Practical Arts 6 textbooks published six kinds was first applied to the actual education in 2015 according to the 2009 revised curriculum. First, by analyzing the terms and expressions used differently in each textbook and unified terms and expressions. Next, asked the industrial and technological zones professor at the National University of Education, intensify the process of Practical Arts Education opinion on unified terms and expressions. The researcher was organized the proposed unified terms and expressions and modified the opinions of teachers, the results are as follows. First, professors of every National University of Education, those are in charge of technology and industry which belongs to the advanced course related to Practical Arts education and future teachers feel the needs for unification of terminologies and expressions for types of robots, apparatus required for teaching and learning study and electrical and electronic components in the chapter of Life and electricity and electronics Second, as types or robots and sensors are not clearly presented in the achievement standards along the educational course on Understanding of the robots chapter, each text book shows different kinds of robots and sensors, concluded that it is necessary to refine the range of the robots and sensors. Lastly, if it is standardized in the content-related representation, and unified of the names of various tools and components that are used from the same chapter when developing the textbooks and instructional materials, not only efficient of teaching and learning, but also resolute of many problems arouse by differently used of expressed terms can be achieved.
