전시회 참여제약, 참여협상, 참여품질의 구조적관계 : 벡스코(BEXCO) 방문객을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 전시회 참여제약에 따른 협상노력이 관람객의 참여품질에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 실증분석 연구이다. 이를 위해 먼저 전시회에 참여하는 과정에서 발생하는 참여제약의 세 가지 요인인 내재적, 대인적, 구조적 제약요인들 중 참여협상 노력을 많이 하는 요인을 밝히고, 전시회 참여협상 노력이 관람객의 참여품질에 미치는 영향에 대해 규명하였다. 실증 분석은 부산지역 전시․컨벤션센터인 벡스코(BEXCO)에 방문한 336명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 316명의 유효 표본을 바탕으로 SPSS 23.0와 AMOS 23.0을 이용하여 분석 하였다. 구조방정식모형 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여제약의 하위요인 중 내재적 제약은 참여협상에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 대인적 제약은 부분적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구조적 제약의 가설은 모두 기각되었으나, 대인관계 협상에는 부정적인 영향으로 지지가 되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 전시회 참여협상의 하위요인 중 물리적 협상은 관람객의 참여품질인 적극성, 소통성, 교감성, 순응성 모두에 강한 영향을 미치고 있었 다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 전시분야에 이론적 시사점을 제시하였고, 전시기획업체 또는 전시업체에 유용한 실무적 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of negotiation effort depending on exhibition participation constraint on the participation quality. For this study, intrapersonal, interpersonal and structural factors of participation constraint, which require a lot of participation negotiation effort, were examined and the effect of exhibition participation negotiation effort on the participation quality was verified. An onsite survey was conducted for visitors to Bexco and effective samples from 316 visitors were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. The findings of this study are as follows. First, intrapersonal constraints negatively affected participation negotiation and interpersonal constraints had a positive effect partially. All the hypotheses of structural constraint were rejected, but structural constraints negatively affected interpersonal relation negotiation and the hypotheses were supported. Second, physical negotiation strongly affected all of Positivity, communication, sympathy and adaptability, which are related to the participation quality. Based on these findings, theoretical implications on the field of exhibition and practical implications for exhibition planning companies or exhibition companies were provided.
