「교육재정경제연구」의 역대 정부별 연구주제 변화 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 노무현 정부 이후 박근혜 정부년까지 「교육재정경제연구」에 게재된 논문 중 주제어와 초록이 제시된 339편을 대상으로 각 정부에 따른 연구주제의 변화 동향과 상관관계를 살펴보고, 향후 연구자들이 보다 관심을 가지고 연구해야 하는 연구 주제와 교육재정·경제학의 발전 방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 교육재정·경제학 연구의 동향은 크게 빈도수 분석 방법과 의미연결망 분석 방법을 통해서 정리하였다. 전체 주제어 빈도 분석 결과 지난 14년 동안 빈도수가 높았던 대표 주제어는 ‘대학’, ‘사교육’, ‘학자금’, ‘교원’, ‘등록금’, ‘지방교육재정’, ‘정책’ 등의 순이었다. 전체 주제어 1,262개 중 15회 이상 출현한 주제어 16개를 대상으로 의미연결망 분석 결과 ‘정책’, ‘지원’, ‘회계’가 가장 높은 연결 중앙성을 나타내었다. 반면 ‘지방교육재정’의 경우 높은 빈도로 출현하였지만 연결중앙성 수치가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 정부별 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 노무현 정부 기간 동안 5회 이상 출현한 주제어 10개를 대상으로 분석한 결과 ‘효율성’이 가장 높은 연결중앙성을 나타내었다. 반면 가장 높은 빈도로 출현한 ‘교원’의 경우 낮은 연결중앙성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 이명박 정부 기간 동안 5회 이상 출현한 단어 25개를 대상으로 분석한 결과 ‘지원’, ‘정책’, ‘대학’이 높은 연결중앙성을 나타내었다. 박근혜 정부의 2013년부터 2016년 전반기 까지 5회 이상 출현한 주제어 19개를 분석한 결과 ‘정책’, ‘지원’이 높은 연결중앙성을 나타내었다. ‘지방교육재정’의 경우 높은 빈도로 출현하였지만, 가장 낮은 연결중앙성을 나타내었다. 교육재정·경제학은 인접한 다른 학문들과 서로 깊은 연관성을 가진 학문이며, 추후 융·복합적으로 연구될 필요가 있는 학문임을 시사받을 수 있다. 더불어 향후 교육재정·경제학의 외연을 넓히기 위해서는 낮은 연결중앙성으로 한정된 주제에 매몰되어있는 ‘지방교육재정’과 관련된 주제어들을 좀 더 다양한 방식으로 접근하여 활발한 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the trends of research topics in The Journal of Economics and Finance of Education by successive governments from 2003 to 2016. For this study, 339 journal articles and 1,262 key words from them excluded overlapping words were selected to be analyzed. To analyze research topics of the journal articles, Semantic Network Analysis was applied, in which they were coded four topic areas. Based on the above analysis, the conclusions of the study are as follows: Firstly, 1,262 key words of 339 journal articles cover the various study areas including evaluation, efficiency, academic achievement, communication, university, policy, and teacher, etc. It means that economics and finance of education can expand its field to and harmony with the adjacent research areas. According to the variation of educational environment, a variety of areas in educational finance and economy research should be studied. Secondly, the key words were changed with the emphasis of the successive Government’s educational policy. More in-depth discussion and study is needed to find the connection between them. Thirdly, according to the semantic network analysis, key words of 339 journal articles were connected organically. Policy, support, account, and university are posted at the center and connected each other organically. However in spite of high frequency of ‘local educational finance’, it is not posted at the center. It means that almost researches on educational finance were focused educational finance itself rather than connection with other areas. More various research on educational finance connected with other areas should be conducted. More expanded research on trends of research topics in Economics and Finance of Education including specific topics, research methodologies, research types and overseas journals could be expected as the oncoming studies of this study.
