국문 초록

강원도 고성 문암리 유적의 문화층을 대상으로 화분분석을 실시하여 신석기시대 중기 이후의 식생변천 및 농경활동을 구명하고자 하였다. 분석용 시료는 조사유적의 F1 그리드에서 확인된 초기 경작층, 하층밭 경작층, 중기 주거지층, 상층밭 경작층에서 채취했다. 선행연구에 따르면, 초기 경작층, 하층밭 경작층, 중기 주거지층은 신석기시대 중기 그리고 상층밭 경작층은 철기~조선시대에 대비된다. 분석결과, ‘신석기시대 중기’, ‘철기~조선시대’ 두 시대 모두 조사유적 일대의 구릉에는 침엽⋅활엽혼효림이 덮여 있었으며, 당시 거주민들은 유적 일대를 중심으로 농경활동을 했던 것으로 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

Pollen analysis of the occupation layer of the Relics in Munamri in Goseong, Gangwon Province was carried out to investigate the transition in vegetation and agricultural activity after the Early Neolithic Age. Samples for the analysis were taken from the early cultivation layer, the lower field cultivation layer, the middle period dwelling layer and the upper filed cultivation layer identified in F1 district of the site. According to the previous studies, the early period cultivation layer, the lower field cultivation layer, and the middle period dwelling layer correspond to the early to the middle Neolithic period and the upper field cultivation layer corresponds to the Iron Age to the Joseon era. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the hills in the entire investigated area were covered with the mixed forest of coniferous and broadleaved trees, and the residents at that time conducted agricultural activities in the entire investigated area during both ‘Middle Neolithic’, and ‘Iron Age to Joseon era’.
