영문 초록

In all the transportation planning applications, the input data which is the most difficult and expensive to obtain is the origin-destination demand matrix. Since the demand data cannot be observed directly, it should be collected by carrying out elaborate and expensive surveys. By contrast, observed link volumes can be obtained easily and with reasonable precision by simply counting the traffic at certain countpost links, either manually or automatically. In this paper, the purpose of research is to investigate the possibility of adjustung an origin-destination demand matrix with observed volumes. Therefore, this paper analyzed observed versus assigned volumes and origin-destination matrices after executing traffic demand analysis processes by inserting Wilson`s entropy maximization model and Heinz Spiess` gradient method in turns. The database used for the investigation is composed of 149 zones, 2,957 nodes and 8,943 links.
