영문 초록
The author begins by arguing that those Asian countries which are able to reform regulations and curb corruption will be successful in the 21st century as there will be no competitive business companies or national development if corruption is rampant. This article suggests the importance of studying the experiences of Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia in combating corruption. More specifically, this article compares the anti-corruption measures in these countries and focuses on the role played by Singapores Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau. Hong Kongs Independent Commission Against Corruption, and Malaysias Anti-Corruption Agency. The author contends that South Korea can improve its ability to combat corruption by drawing relevant lessons from the successful experiences of these three Asian countries.
